Step 2: Apply separately for Rajagiri Business School PGDM admission, meeting the ‘Eligibility Criteria.’

All candidates applying to the institute and meeting the ‘Eligibility Criteria’ will be considered for the admission process. Candidates must have taken any one of the applicable entrance exams, i.e., CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, or Kerala KMAT.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Skills Test (ST)/Business Awareness Test (BAT) round based on the ‘Shortlisting Criteria’ mentioned above. After clearing the shortlist, candidates will undergo the GD-PI-ST/BAT. The Group Discussion evaluates candidates' ability to discuss and present ideas, the Personal Interview assesses candidates' technical knowledge and behavioral competency, and the Skills Test measures their written communication and analytical abilities.

Rajagiri Business School follows a holistic selection process when selecting students. Therefore, the final selection will be based on the total marks achieved by the candidate, considering the following parameters:

Through the Rajagiri Scholarship for Excellence (RiSE) scheme RBS Kochi offers 21 Diversity scholarships. RBS is committed to creating a coordinated and integrated learning environment that promotes diversity in the campus. Through the Diversity Scholarship, RBS provides opportunity for meritorious and capable students from all parts of India to pursue quality management education at RBS. These scholarships, 21 in number, range from 25-50% waiver of the tuition fee and recognizes the academic achievement of students.

The applicant must be a non-Keralite.
The applicant should fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission to the PGDM programme of RBS as prescribed by the Admissions Office of Rajagiri.
The applicant should have secured admission for the PGDM programme offered by RBS through the three stage selection process laid down by the Admissions Office of RBS.

2.  Career and Talent Scholarship
The Career and Talent Scholarships ensure that talented and highly motivated students have an opportunity to follow their passion, study and graduate from a premier institution. These scholarships, 10 in number, range from 25-50% waiver of tuition fee and recognizes the meritorious performance of candidates in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Managements (IIMs). RBS provides scholarship for eligible candidates who have scored above 80 percentile in the CAT exam.

Curriculum

SSN School of Management Chennai MBA course curriculum consists of two years spread over four semesters. The first year provides for learning the foundation areas and professional core courses. The second year provides an opportunity for students to do a deep-dive in functional areas of interest by way of specialization and electives. SSN offers four specializations which are ever-green – marketing, finance, operations and human resources. The students are expected to specialize in two areas.

On a selective basis, some courses provide for interaction with practicing managers in the industry. This enables students to connect the dots with the concepts learned in the respective courses. The curriculum also includes Managerial Communications and Seminars which provide an opportunity for students to develop and strengthen the essential skills that play a major role in shaping careers advancements. All this is supplemented by guest lectures by eminent people from the industry which provides an opportunity to students to interact with thought leaders.

Some certificate courses are also offered outside the curriculum to enable students pick up contemporary skills. MBA programme at SSN provides two industry internships. Students do an 8 week internship after the first year in a company. This provides an opportunity to the student to get a real experience of the corporate world, experience the application of concepts and take up the study of a problem. 

The final semester has a three month project-internship which will require the student to carry out an in-depth study with a research orientation. Apart from these, many of the courses have a project component. The students are “industry ready” when they complete the program.

All the courses in the first year are compulsory core courses. These courses equip the students with basic knowledge in various areas of management.  The courses in the second year emphasize the multifunctional and strategic dimensions in decision making, and include courses related to different functional areas as well general areas. In the second year, students can opt to specialize in the areas of Marketing, Systems, Finance, Operations, Human Resources Management along with additional modular specializations. Students have the option of single / dual specialization along with modular specialization in Microfinance or Business Analytics. Students can also decide to be a generalist and not specialize in any area and instead opt for courses from various streams to make up the required minimum credits. 

SDMIMD has built into its curriculum some unique courses and programs that distinguish it from other Institutes, such as Ethics and Values in Management, Yoga and Socially Relevant Project. In line with the movement to align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) announced by the UN, and the prominence being given to the Environmental-Social-Governance (ESG) dimensions, SDMIMD is offering a modular specialization and certification for students to study ESG-related courses in addition to their chosen PGDM specialization. The Institute has planned several activities in this regard including MDPs, conferences, and conclaves. SDMIMD has entered into a major 5-year tie up with TCS iON for academic enhancement. Entire batch of first year students is enrolled every year. 10 courses have been identified which are offered in the first year and early in the second year. TCS iON organizes supplementary lectures on practical relevance, conducts internship during the course program. A Joint certificate is issued by SDMIMD and TCS iON on completion of the orientation. SDMIMD has entered into a collaboration with Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) for setting up a joint Centre of excellence in Management Studies at SDMIMD campus. SDMIMD Mysore Application for Admission 2025 should be submitted Online. Eligible candidates have to go to SDMIMD PGDM Admission Apply Now  and Fill up the basic registration details, complete the application form and submit. SDMIMD Mysore application fees is Rs.1250/-. The fee should be paid online or by DD. If making payment by DD, prepare the D.D. in favour of The Director, SDM Institute for Management Development, Payable at Mysore. SDMIMD Mysore Final Selection round consists of Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). SDMIMD final selection will be made based on entrance exam score, academic performance, Work Experience, performance in PI-WAT among others. After preparing merit list based on above parameters, SDMIMD Final Admission Offer will be made to successful candidates. IPE offers many excellent scholarships for deserving students with varied backgrounds. There is separate merit scholarship’s criteria for students of SC/ST/OBC /Minority backgrounds. There are also scholarships for students from designated states such as Northeastern States, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional talent in sports / arts at graduate level. Students representing any sports at the National / International level with certificates issued by Sport Associations authorized by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) are only eligible for scholarships. All the scholarship applications will be scrutinized by the Internal Committee and the scholarship list will be finalized. The decision of the committee is final and binding.
