Management graduates should focus on attitude development Unfortunately, management institutes dont teach how to develop the right attitude. B-schools students should seize the initiative.

The Global Compact Leaders Summit saw approximately 1,000 participants: top executives of companies, heads of international labor agencies, civil society agencies and United Nations agencies, government officials and representatives from select B-schools. In his address to the students, Dr. Singh said, As a management student you should not only look at this opportunity to become a manager in any large corporation, but as one to serve society and to become a good human being In this world today, India is next to none in terms of its capabilities. You need to have confidence in yourself.

He stressed on the need for understanding the fundamentals, and recognizing the importance of the application process. Aspirants should start preparing for the XAT from at least 6 months ahead. They should concentrate on the fundamentals. Once they are clear with the fundamentals, they will be able to answer the application-oriented questions. In English, they should know the precise meaning of words, and not vague meanings, he said.

The institute has set up new centres in Ahmedabad and Pune and is adding two more centers in Delhi NCR, taking the total tally to 10 education centres across the country.
