Making a start:

TCS and Accenture win Delhi round of Tata Crucible Business Quiz 2007

TCS team won the Tata-track, while Accenture team won the non-Tata track. The quiz was held at the Seminar Hall of IIT, Delhi on August 18, 2007.

NTPC emerged as the runners up, while the other teams in the final were HT Media, Kotak Bank, E-enabled Technologies & ICRA. Dr. Naresh Malhan, President-Consumer Business, Tata Teleservices was the Chief Guest for the event and distributed the prizes to the winning team.

IFMR Bags MMA Award 2016

Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR) has bagged the prestigious MMA award for Managerial Excellence in the Education Institutions category for the year 2016.

Madras Management Association has instituted the managerial excellence award with an intent to recognize excellence in managerial thinking, action and demonstrable results to companies and institutions. In order to constantly encourage and motivate superior leadership performance by the companies and institutions, MMA decided to institute the award in the year 2002.

Coke, Microsoft and IBM are top three global brands followed by GE and Finnish mobile giant Nokia. Asian brands, barring Japanese and Korean brands, dont match up to these global biggies. There is no Indian or Chinese brand yet in the Top 100 Brands list. Breaking the western hegemony somewhat are Japanese brands like Sony, Lexus, Panasonic, Nintendo, Canon and Honda. Three South Korean brands Samsung (No 21), Hyundai (No 72) and LG (No 97) are a reminder and perhaps inspiration for Indian brands that want to have a global equity and footprint.

It will start from September 2007, for MBA students.
