He was presiding over the 12th convocation of Delhi NCR based IILM Graduate School of Management (IGSM) on July 20. On the occasion, 154 management students of IGSM were conferred with the title of PGDBM. The ceremony was addressed by Dr Munjal, Dr B Bhatachraya, Director IILM and Major Gen B D Wadhwa, AVSM (Retd), Director General IILM.
XLRI students learn about leadership On the ROCKS
Students participated in several management games, rock climbing and trenching at a place near Jamshedpur. They also did rafting at Dimna Lake. Tata Adventure Sports Foundation (TASF), Jamshedpur, organized the event.
During the trip, students also got the opportunity to met Ms. Bachendri Pal, the first Indian women to climb Mt. Everest. She gave a pep talk to the students on leadership skills. She was all praise for the enthusiasm and high degree of involvement shown by them.

two leading management institutes Mumbai-based SP Jain Institute of Management & Research and Ahmedabad-based Nirma University of Science & Technologys Institute of Management -- have accepted that delays at their end resulted in their missing out the CAT Bulletins official deadline. They however have informed MBAUniverse.com that they are part of CAT 2007, and their names will appear in subsequent CAT announcements. We are taking up the matter with IIM to correct the same in future publication and notifications, said SP Jains admission officer Prof Parimal Merchant.

Ad-Guru turned academician Prof. Cedric Serpes joins GIM as faculty
In his former avatar, Prof. Cedric Serpes was the Creative Chief for ad agencies like Grey and Lintas, in India and abroad. The Ad Guru-turned-academician shifted to Goa about 15 years back, and subsequently joined GIM to teach Integrated Marketing Communication.
IIM-L to launch IPMX program at NOIDA Campus in April, 2008
According to IIM-L, the program is expected to commence from April 14, 2008.
IIM-Ls IPMX is designed for executives to prepare them for leadership roles. The program aims to broaden the core managerial competencies and to enhance the professional growth of students. According to IIM-L, The program will develop business education that is grounded in the Indian and international business environment. ICFAI Business School to conduct IBSAT entrance test on December 16
IBSAT, acronym for ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test, is conducted for IBSs two-year MBA program at all campuses and the one-year Executive Post Graduate Program in Hyderabad. The test will be conducted at 109 test centres at cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chandigarh etc. Interestingly, SNAP -- the entrance exam for Symbiosis Group of Institutions -- will also be held on December 16 but it will start at 2.00 pm.
The last date for the receipt of the completed Application Form is November 20, 2007.
