XLRI Director Father N Casimir Raj S.J. broke this news to MBAUniverse.com: We are planning to open one more campus in India which will be in Hyderabad. This will be a full-fledged campus built on approximately 35 acres of land. The first academic season will start in 2009.

XLRI Hyderabad will offer both Human Resource Management and a two-year full time MBA program.

This fifteenth edition of LOral Brandstorm is played out in 35 countries including India.

IIMs to add 157 new seats to accommodate OBC reservations

The student intake capacity in six Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) is expected to increase by 157 during 2007-08. These are some of the details from the report of the Outcome Budget placed on the table of Parliament a few days back.

The report further adds that IIM Lucknow will add the maximum 45 seats this year. IIM Ahmedabad is expected to add 34 seats, IIM Bangalore 30 seats and IIM Calcutta 18 seats. Younger siblings IIM Indore and IIM Kozhikode are expected to add 15 seats each.
