The programme grew out of the HR specialisation that XIMB offered in its PGDM from 1987. A full two-year PGDM-HRM followed in 2011, and since 2014 it has been the MBA-HRM of XIM University

IMT Ghaziabad PGDM BFS 2027: Banking and Financial Services Curriculum, Fees, Admission
Launched in 2019, this is a premium PGDM offered by IMT Ghaziabad focusses on a specific ecosystem – banking and financial services. This large, growing, critical, international industry requires both an understanding of core management skills as well as significant domain expertise. The vision of the program is to make participants industry ready for not just day one for BFSI (Banking and financial services Industry), but to provide them with the conceptual and principles-based understanding that will future-proof their skillsets to meet the expected material disruption in this space over the next few years.
Following a full review of the program architecture and based on stakeholder feedback, the structure of the program was aligned with the dual goals of aligning closely with industry needs (immediate and in the medium term) as well as clearly differentiating it from the traditional PGDM Finance, in terms of content, design, and delivery.
Each course is now designed using a five-pillar approach – theory, practice, history, data and disruption.
