Christ University MBA Selection process results will be available on the date published in the Important Dates section. Selection process results will be available on Christ University website and candidates will receive an E-Offer of admission. The offer will be valid up to the date mentioned in the Offer of admission.
Selected candidates must make the fee payment and download the offer of admission on the application status link on the University website.
To process admission:
- Candidates must choose the preferred date and time from available options to facilitate a smooth admission process.
- Admission must be processed at the campus where the programme is offered as published in the offer of admission.
- As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode.
- Payment options and details will be available in the Offer of admission.
- Fees for the first year, including Admission Registration fee, must be paid in full as part of the admission process.

Candidates falling under any of these categories (PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit:

b) PIO / OCI have to produce a copy of the PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).
c) Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and (PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS)

All mandatory documents must be submitted for verification during the admission process.
An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing/passing their exam in March – June - 2024] must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 20 September 2024.
Failure to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) without any claim.

The internal scholarships are provided by the University, the Alumni Association, organisations such as Goldman Sachs, and Earnst and Young who are collaborating with the University to provide scholarships to students such as visually Challenged, economically disadvantaged.
The external scholarships are provided by the Government of India, the State governments, Regulatory bodies such as University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Karnataka Labour Welfare Board, and philanthropic or community-based Organizations.
The Scholarship Support Cell of the University is a dedicated unit that supports students to apply for these scholarships. The two year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at Great Lakes Institute of Management is designed for young leaders with less than 3 years of work experience. The program has a clear focus on emerging economies and their growth. Great Lakes PGDM Admission is a two step process involving the Shortlisting criteria and the Final admission selection Criteria. After submission of application for the PGDM program as per the eligibility criteria, the candidate has to go through the following admission process:
Shortlisting: Great Lakes will shortlist the candidates on the basis of following parameters:
- Great Lakes Institute of Management will consider aggregate scores and not the sectional scores of the applicants in the acceptable entrance exams for shortlisting
- In case more than one exam is taken by the applicant, Great Lakes will short-list the candidates for the interview based on the best available test scores in CAT/XAT/ CMAT/GMAT
- Academic profile also plays an important role in shortlisting. Candidates with consistent academic background and a demonstrated ability to sustain pressure will make the shortlist.
Great Lakes Final Selection Criteria:
- Post short-listing on the basis of available scores, applicants will be called for the final selection round (PI Round) at the designated centres
- The aptitude test scores are important at the interview shortlisting stage but have limited weightage as far as the final selection is concerned.
- Performance in Personal Interview (PI) will be awarded high weightage in final selection criteria.
- Evaluation Criteria in Great Lakes Final Selection will also involve the quality of work experience, professional and personal achievements, demonstrated leadership and team skills, aptitude and attitude.
- Excellent Academic Scores will be awarded due weightage in final selection round at Great lakes.
Candidates who have exhibited leadership skills at work and/or in school/college will be awarded due weightage in the final selection round of Great Lakes. - Integrity and Ethical Values including originality play important role in final selection criteria at Great Lakes. Candidates found lacking these qualities will not be selected irrespective of their performance in other areas.
- Final Admission offer for PGDM at Great Lakes will be based on GMAT/CAT/ XAT/ CMAT scores, past academic performance, essay writing test, work experience and performance in the interview
The PGDM curriculum at Great Lakes Institute of Management focuses on developing management skills and business acumen though an extensive case-study based pedagogy simulating real-life decision-making. Great Lakes Chennai PGDM Eligibility criteria have following key parameters:
- All PGDM applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with 60% marks in class 10/12 and graduation
- Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for Great Lakes Admission for PGDM
- Only Fresh Graduates and candidates with less than 36 months of work experience after graduation are eligible to apply. Candidates with greater than 36 months of work- experience should apply for the Great lakes one year PGPM program.
- Internship or part time work experience is not considered. Only full time work experience is considered. However, full time work experience as an entrepreneur or in family business will be taken into account.
- All PGDM applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT/XAT /CMAT before applying to Great Lakes Institute of Management.
For PGDM 2025 admission, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept CAT scores of years 2023/ 2024 or XAT scores of years 2024/ 2025 or GMAT scores taken after Jan 1, 2023 or CMAT scores of the year 2024/ 2025. - Great Lakes awards a special preference for College / University rank holders. The onus of proof of rank is vested in the applicant.
Final Selection offer for PGDM at Great Lakes will be based on GMAT/CAT/ XAT/ CMAT scores, past academic performance, essay writing test, work experience and performance in the interview
Great Lakes offers diversity and merit scholarships to one year PGPM students to encourage diversity of perspectives and commitment to excellence. A total of 40 diversity and merit based scholarships worth Rs.5 lakhs each will be awarded and minimum of 30% of the scholarships would be for female students.
