PGPWE is a 2-year MBA program where regular live classes are held over electronic mode, and the participants experience in-campus immersion for selected days. Programme Structure
Two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Business Administration)
Each academic year comprises of four terms (of 3-months each), which includes two weeks for examinations (mid-term & end-term).
20 Core courses spread over terms 1 to 6. 14 elective courses spread over terms 4 to 8 followed by mandatory field work/project in term 8 equivalent to two course load.

Class Schedule
- In the initial three terms, the classes are held on four days per week i.e. Thursday to Sunday.
- Term 4 onwards classes are held throughout the week and for an individual the class schedule depends on the electives chosen by him/her.
- Classes are held from 6.30 PM to 9.45 PM on weekdays, from 6.30 PM to 9.45 PM on Saturdays, and from 10.00 AM to 05.15 PM, with a lunch break from 1.15 PM to 2.00 PM on Sundays.

SELECTION PROCESS

The PGDM BM Online course plan involves 714 hours of Scheduled Teaching Hours spread across core and elective courses. Total designed program content for the XLRI-XOL PGDM (BM) program is for 1240 hours consisting of Scheduled Teaching Hours, Flexible Interactive Sessions, Industry Interface and Career Development Initiatives and Tutorial delivered on need basis. According to AICTE norms, selected students are expected to invest additional 1160 hours as Indicative Self Learning Hours in the form of pre-readings, assignments & individual reflections, individual exercises, e-texts, self-assessment etc. across all courses depending on personal strengths and weaknesses.
The programme also provides an opportunity to concentrate in one or two of the functional areas (viz. IIM Lucknow MBA E&I is a focused, intense, practical 16-month program with the sole objective of allowing you to envision, design, build, and launch your own venture. The porgramme curriculum is balanced between theory, skill, practice and offers Internship opportunities with VCs, entrepreneurs. The programme offers 1:1 mentorship by existing entrepreneurs. Apart from imparting the required skills and knowledge, the program will focus on developing the industry knowledge and professional networks of the participants. IIM Lucknow campus has two incubators which run out of the Noida campus. These are the SCI-FI Incubator and the L-Incubator which seek to nurture entrepreneurial talent. On successful completion of the program, the student gets an MBA degree.

Step by Step admission process for IIM Lucknow PGPWE programme is as below:

In the normal course, the program is completed in two years.
