Admissions are now open for the 2-year, full-time International Master in Business (IMB) program at SDA Bocconi Asia Center for the 2026–28 batch.
SDA Bocconi accepts scores from the CAT, NMAT, GMAT, and GRE exams. Additionally, candidates who have not taken these exams can opt for the Bocconi Test, conducted by SDA Bocconi Asia Center for MBA admission.
Admission Criteria
For the 2026 intake, SDA Bocconi follows a holistic admission process. The overall profile of the candidate is evaluated, which includes:

TERM 1 (September – December 2026)

TERM 2 (January – March 2027)

SDA Bocconi Asia Center offers up to 80% merit-based tuition waivers for eligible IMB candidates, along with scholarships such as the Women in Leadership and Sports & Cultural Arts Scholarships.
Additionally, the Dean’s Scholarship is awarded to academically strong candidates. It is applicable based on academic performance in the first year, recognizing a consistent record of merit. Selections are made by the admissions committee, and their decisions are final.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
SPJIMR's Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year, full-time residential program that is deemed equivalent to an MBA. The programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Besides, SPJIMR PGDM is Accredited by top three international agencies – AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.
SPJIMR PGDM program offers specializations in Finance, Information Management, Marketing, and Operations & Supply Chain. SPJIMR offers choice of specialization at the application submission stage. While filling the application form, the PGDM aspirants are required to opt for two choices of specialisation from Marketing, Finance, Operations & Supply Chain, Information Management.

SPJIMR’s Global Management Programme (GMP) is for participants aspiring to do a master’s abroad and launch their global careers. GMP partners with top-ranked management institutes across Europe, the UK, the USA and Canada to offer full-time international management (MBA/MS) programmes. The programme intakes two cohorts every year in January and June and allows students to study in Europe, the UK, the USA and Canada. The participants complete their first semester, which is for 6 months, at SPJIMR, where they learn the fundamentals of general management and much more. The international partner schools accept the credits earned here towards completing the global MBA/MS degree. Once the participants enrol in GMP, access will be given to the six online course pack by Harvard Business Publishing Education, as part of the Pre-Term GMP Launch. This preparatory course is designed to provide world-class education and equip participants with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the business world. The Foundation and Compulsory courses cover Communication, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Statistics, Design Thinking.
Electives provide more knowledge and are selected based on the partner school’s requirements and the student’s interest. Participants undertake foreign language training (German, French, Dutch) irrespective of their chosen partner school. Participants complete 54 credits at GMP with pre-reads, post-reads, individual assignments, group work activities, presentations, quizzes and exams. On completion of GMP, SPJIMR awards a certificate, and the international partner school awards the MBA/MS degree on successful completion of the programme.
GMP programme architecture is flexible to accommodate specific partner schools’ needs for credit recognition. Mandatory courses include project management along with certification, problem-solving using design thinking, quantitative methods for decision science, core management courses on marketing, finance & accounting, operations/supply chain, organisational behaviour, HR and foreign language. Four – eight credits for a foreign language are compulsory. Language courses offered are German, French, and Dutch. Participants can opt for any one of the foreign language courses. International partner schools offer a portfolio of specialisations. The programme also provides electives for specific partner schools.

The PGPM programme comprises three phases: Online module for 2 months; On-campus residential module for 12 months and Four months of Social/Startup Projects and International Immersion.
PGPM addresses the unique needs of accomplished and ambitious professionals/executives seeking career acceleration or transition. PGPM provides its participants with a strong foundation in core management fundamentals in the first Semester. Fellow Programme in Management
The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), approved by AICTE, is a doctoral-level programme of SPJIMR designed to create world-class researchers and faculty in various management disciplines. Full FPM Full-Time at SPJIMR is a fully-funded residential programme. Every scholar admitted to the full-time programme receives a stipend for the first four years of the programme.
FPM encourages rigorous interdisciplinary research in contemporary areas of management and focuses on relevant and contextual research to address current business issues and aims to create knowledge that helps shape the world for a better future. The programme envisages itself developing independent top-quality management thinkers, thought leaders and consultants making contributions to the domain of management.

Scholarship
Every participant admitted as a full-time scholar receives a stipend for the first four years of the programme as below:
During the coursework phase: INR 40,000 per month
Post-clearing the qualifying exam: INR 42,000 per month
Post successful defence of proposal: INR 45,000 per month.
Contingency grants are also offered to the full-time participant to access the necessary equipment and facilities for research. The amount is reimbursed after verification of the submitted bills.
