Step 1: Apply and Appear in CAT 2024/XAT 2025/CMAT 2024
The candidate must have registered and should have appeared and scored the minimum required percentile in CAT 2024/XAT 2025/CMAT 2024
Step 2: Register and Apply for IRMA Admission
Carefully register and apply online for admission to IRMA. While applying, the applicant is required to pay the application fee. You need to follow the sequence of all stages after editing (do not skip any stage) to ensure proper data entry. Any editing is possible before final submission. After final submission, it will not be possible to edit the IRMA application form.
Step 3: Shortlist: The shortlisting includes the candidates who are short-listed for IWAT & Personal Interview round on the basis of their CAT and XAT score.
Step 4: Participate in IWAT & PI Round: After the Shortlisting process, all the shortlisted candidates have to appear in IRMA WAT and PI online or offline. Personal Interview will be conducted in OFFLINE and ONLINE mode. Candidate will be given an option for selecting mode of Personal Interview.
Step 5: Final Admission Offer: Final Admission Offer will be made to the candidates in the last week of March 2025 on the basis of Final Merit Score

The PGDM (RM) features a well-structured curriculum that integrates intellectual and experiential learning through classroom and field-based components. The introductory management courses are rooted in the philosophies of collectivism, cooperation, and conscious capitalism. Term I and Term II are required core courses for all PGDM (RM) participants. They pursue a blend of obligatory and elective courses from term III to term VI.

Following key points form the IRMA eligibility criteria for PGDM (RM) Admission
- A Graduate from any discipline, with a minimum of 15 years of education and 50% or above (45% or above for SC/ST/PwD) aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA at the graduation level is eligible to apply for IRMA’s PGDM (RM) program
- Candidates in the final year of the bachelor’s degree may also apply
- However the candidate should complete the graduation before the time of commencement of the PGDM (RM) 2025 - 27 programme. The candidates failing to meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be asked to withdraw from the programme. The Fees paid by such candidates will be forfeited unless IRMA fills their vacant seats through new admissions.
After the Shortlisting process, all the shortlisted candidates have to appear in IRMA WAT and PI. Final Admission Offer will be made to the candidates in the last week of March or April 2025 on the basis of Final Merit Score.

Eligibility criteria for continuation/ renewal of the scholarship

3. No disciplinary action was initiated/sanctioned against the student under the student handbook or compliance with norms as prescribed by the University

5. The student is not caught in unfair means in any of the examinations conducted either by the Institute or University
6. The student should maintain minimum attendance criteria except the absence with genuine reasons for which the permission of the Ho I was obtained particularly in the case of illness

Programme Structure
Two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Business Administration)
Each academic year comprises of four terms (of 3-months each), which includes two weeks for examinations (mid-term & end-term).
20 Core courses spread over terms 1 to 6. 14 elective courses spread over terms 4 to 8 followed by mandatory field work/project in term 8 equivalent to two course load.

Evaluation

Merit Scholarship:
- The initiative of MDI Gurgaon Merit Scholarship is designed to recognize and reward consistent academic excellence among students enrolled in the PGDM-BA programme.
- Scholarships will be awarded to the top two students securing the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at the end of Term 1, 2 and 3.

Class Schedule
- In the initial three terms, the classes are held on four days per week i.e. Thursday to Sunday.
- Term 4 onwards classes are held throughout the week and for an individual the class schedule depends on the electives chosen by him/her.
- Classes are held from 6.30 PM to 9.45 PM on weekdays, from 6.30 PM to 9.45 PM on Saturdays, and from 10.00 AM to 05.15 PM, with a lunch break from 1.15 PM to 2.00 PM on Sundays.

Eligibility
- The Applicants must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
- The Applicants must have minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other educational Institutions established by an Act of the Parliament or declared as deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 or possess and equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
- A minimum of 3-year of post-qualification work experience as on April 30, 2026.
- Self-Sponsored /Sponsored Applicants through valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT
- The Applicants must have any one of the six All India Tests i.e Valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT scores, valid upto June 30, 2026 to be eligible for the admission to PGDM-Business Administration.
SELECTION PROCESS
Shortlisting of Applicants for the Personal Interview will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT scores. Shortlisted Applicants for phase 1 will be called for the Personal Interview on May 09/10, 2026 and for Phase 2 on July 04/05, 2026.
Shortlisted Applicants will be called for Personal Interview in online mode.
ADMISSION OFFER
Successful Applicants will be made a provisional admission offer in May/July 2026. The selected Applicants will have to pay the first instalment of fee by the given deadline, failing which their offer of admission would be withdrawn, without any further intimation.

The PGDM IEV at XLRI is designed to develop various skills and knowledge in the students though its rich curriculum and pedagogy. XLRI IEV employs a dynamic, hands-on approach in which each day is different. Students should anticipate two to four 90-minute lessons per day, five days per week. Students also engage in group projects, career counselling meetings, industry practicums, and extracurricular activities throughout the week.
The curriculum is based on the regular PGDM curriculum for business management but has been contextualized for startups. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
The Doctoral Programme (PhD) of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta was started in 1971. It is a full-time doctoral programme to be completed in four to five years. The programme offers opportunities for advanced studies and research in different specializations related to Management Science. The Programme aims to prepare students for careers in teaching and research in management studies and in related disciplines, and for careers in the government, in industry, and in other organizations that require advanced analytical and research capabilities.
On successful completion of the Programme, a student is awarded the Ph.D degree, in his/her area of specialization.
The admission process for IIMC PhD programme is detailed as below:
- Based on the information provided by the applicants in their application, the candidates will be shortlisted (on the recommendation of the respective areas) for interview
- The mode of conducting the Interview i.e either Online / In-person will be notified/intimated well ahead of the process.
- Candidates will be admitted to the programme based on a combination of multiple parameters, as also specified by the respective areas.
- Admission Parameters may include applicant's performance in GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE, JRF (NET) score, past academic performance, work experience, interview performance etc.

IIM Calcutta Doctoral Programme offers specializations in Economics, Finance & Control, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Operations Management, Organizational Behaviour, Public Policy and Management, Strategic Management, Operations Research & Systems Analysis, Regional Development, and Sociology.
Upon joining the programme, students go through coursework in 6 terms spread across 2 academic years and complete at least 90 credits. The academic group that a student joins is treated as the Major area of specialization.
In the first year, students take up at least 15 compulsory credit courses (includes 2 compulsory courses on research methods [qualitative and quantitative], for groups requiring students to do these courses in the first year) and 1 compulsory non-credit course in Qualifying Mathematics. In the second year, students have to take 8 courses in major area (out of which at least six should be doctoral-level advanced courses; if a student has already taken any doctoral-level course in the first year, he/she needs to take the remaining number of doctoral-level advanced courses in the second year out of total six). Minimum of 3 doctoral courses of 3 credits each offered by any academic groups (or mix thereof) other than his/her group of specialization should be taken. Besides, 2 compulsory doctoral level courses on research methods (qualitative and quantitative), for academic groups deciding students to do these courses in the second year should be taken. Students are required to take at most two term papers (in lieu of courses) of which at least one term paper must be in the major area.
In the summer vacation at the end of first year, students undertake a project/research work which is treated as equivalent to 2 credit courses.
The qualifying CGPA for first year is 5.5 while that for the whole period of coursework is 6.0. Students failing to meet the cut-off CGPA are required to withdraw from the programme. After successful completion of coursework, students take a CQE (Comprehensive Qualifying Examination) administered by the respective academic group. Upon successful completion of CQE, a student moves into the thesis or dissertation phase.
Students are required to attend a teaching practicum. Students are required to take up Teaching Assistantship over the tenure of Fellowship for at least one diploma course offered by the academic group.
Applications for IIM Calcutta PhD admission should be submitted online with an application fees of Rs.2000 (Gen category) and Rs.1000 (Reserved category) Along with the online application, you have to upload all the relevant certificates and testimonials and furnish details of your referees. The online application starts tentatively in the first/second week of November. You can apply upto maximum two areas of specialization.
The eligibility criteria to apply for IIMC Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD) are as follows:
- First Class Master's or Post graduate diploma (2 years) in any discipline and a three-year Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in the aggregate.
- CA with minimum 50% marks or CS/CMA with minimum 55% marks, with B.com degree
