PhD is the Doctoral Programme in Management at IIM Bodh Gaya. It is a full-time residential programme of four years. Inaugurated in the year 2020, The Ph.D. Programme of IIM Bodhgaya is a relatively new programme. Despite being in its nascent stage, the programme has managed to make significant strides forward and is constantly evolving in accordance with IIM Bodh Gaya vision and objective to assist the institute in becoming an international centre of excellence in management education. On successful completion of the programme, a student will be awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).

Academics: Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications to apply for IIM Bodh Gaya’s doctoral programme: Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60 percent marks or equivalent grade point average, or Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60 percent marks or equivalent grade point average, or Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 60 percent marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent, or Four Year/Eight Semester Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./ B. Entrance Test: Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria are required to take Common Admission Test (CAT). Alternatively, those who have qualified GATE, GRE, GMAT or JRF (UGC/CSIR/or equivalent) examinations can also apply in the relevant area of specialization. IIM Bodh Gaya will provide scholarships to full time Research Students (Ph.D.). It will cover all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library fees) and hostel fee.
Monthly Stipend of Rs. 32,800 will be provided till Comprehensive Exam and Rs. 35,400 Post Comprehensive Exam. After approval of Thesis proposal, the stipend will go up to Rs. 39,300 per month. Additional Financial Support of Rs. 25,000 per year towards Contingency Grant for 4 years will be provided and Rs.50,000 will be given towards one time Laptop Grant. Apart from this Rs. 1,75,000 towards Conference Grant will be given to attend national and international conferences.

Rural Immersion Experience

The first year core courses cover the key tools, concepts and analytical skills used in all major functional areas as well as subjects like business strategy and business ethics. After the first year, Students complete a two-month corporate internship with companies at different locations. There is a rigorous evaluation process after completion of first year.
In the second year, Electives are offered in all of the major functional areas along with multi-disciplinary courses like Entrepreneurship and Management Consulting. Teams of 5-6 students undertake a two-week live project in the offices of a multinational company in locations like Bangkok, Dubai, and Singapore.

A compulsory course is Capstone which emphasizes the philosophy of immersion and application orientation. Some students also spend one full semester abroad as a part of the Student Exchange Program (STEP).

Accept PhD Admission Offer and Pay Acceptance Fees: Full-time Ph.D scholars are exempted from tuition/programme fee. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IIM Sambalpur is a two-year full-time residential programme. Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)
IIM Rohtak launched 5 Year IPM in 2019-20. The first batch is to pass out this year. Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered at IIM Rohtak is a dual degree BBA+MBA programme. IPM is for students after class XII who aim to pursue their career in Business Management. IPM students are automatically promoted to IIM Rohtak MBA program after completing 3 years of BBA program. IIM Rohtak also offers exit option after successful completion of 3 years with award of degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
Upon successfully completing academic rigor of 5 years, the participant will be awarded Integrated Programme in Management (BBA+MBA) by IIM Rohtak. The student does not need to appear in CAT or any other MBA entrance exam after completing the 3 years of BBA. IPM admission is through online IIM Rohtak IPM Aptitude Test of 2 hours duration. The 5 year IPM curriculum at IIM Rohtak consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years. One year has three terms, each of 3 months duration. Doctoral Programme in Management
The Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) of IIM Rohtak is a full-time residential Ph.D program offered in various disciplines. The programme aims at developing high-quality researchers and teachers for academic institutions in India and abroad; Producing top-quality management experts and thinkers for business organizations, government, and society in India and abroad.
The programme duration is four years. The participants are given a monthly stipend, waiver of tuition fees, contingency grant to attend international/national conferences and support for research visits to global partner institutions. Areas of specialization in IIM Rohtak DPM programme are Economics & Public Policy, Finance & Accounting, Management Information Systems, Marketing & Strategic Management, Operations Management & Quantitative Techniques, Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management. A candidate can apply to two areas at a time with payment of registration charges separately.
