SJMSoM IIT Bombay offers 4 year full time Doctoral Programme PhD in Management. With sound research base and extensive infrastructural facilities available, SJMSoM IIT Bombay offers PhD programmes in  strategic management, technology management, financial management and operations management. The broad objectives of the PhD programme are not only to keep pace with expanding frontiers of knowledge but also to provide research training relevant to the present social and economic objectives of the country.
The IIT Bombay PhD programme in Management prepares the students for careers in teaching and research. The academic programme leading to the PhD degree is broad-based and involves a minimum course credit requirement and research thesis. The institute also encourages research in interdisciplinary areas through a system of joint supervision  and interdisciplinary group activities. The presence of a strong research oriented faculty provides excellent opportunities for such programme. The Institute undertakes sponsored research and development projects from the industrial and other organizations in the public as well as private sector.

Scholarship
A candidate, selected for the full time Ph.D. Programme, at SJMSoM IIT Bombay will be eligible for the financial support. The assistantship is payable for a maximum duration of 5 years or up to the thesis submission, whichever is earlier. 

No programme fee is charged from the full time PhD candidates. They will be offered hostel accommodation at the campus
The monthly rate of Teaching Assistantship is Rs. 31,000/ for the first 2 years and enhanced rate of Rs. 35,000/ for the remaining period. 
For Research Associates, the monthly rate of assistantship is Rs. 35,000/ for the first 2 years and enhanced rate of Rs. 39,000/ for the remaining period.

  • Research Methodology course has 6 credits

IIT Bombay offers 18 Months Executive MBA. It is a first of its kind joint degree executive MBA  program offered by IIT Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis. The EMBA program is a part time programme. The IIT Bombay executive MBA programme duration of 18 months is split into 4 days a month from Thursday to Sunday. Curriculum

The curriculum of 18 months Executive MBA programme offered jointly by SJMSoM IIT Bombay and Washington University in St Louis mirrors the content and structure of Washington University’s internationally recognized sister programs in the U.S. and China. Many of the same faculty members teach the courses. 

The classroom modules are held over four days every month, from Thursday morning to Sunday Evening at the IIT Bombay classrooms. Every EMBA participant must record 600 contact hours to get programme graduation. The classes are conducted in English and include Indian and US management perspectives. Two of the 18 programme modules are taught at Olin Business School’s Charles F.Knight Executive Education & Conference Center on the Washington University campus in St. Louis.

The EMBA course curriculum is split between core and advanced functional modules. These allow for refreshers in functional fundamentals, multi-modular or cross functional training, strategic and leadership courses, people management and business communication up skilling, all delivered through a right blend of classroom learning, case analysis, brief papers on specific topics and more significant long-term papers. Participant evaluation is a function of individual and team.
During the two week stay at Washington DC & St.Louis, the candidates will have one to one Executive Coaching session, Industry visits in St. Louis Global Tycoon Championship and will also have opportunity to study with EMBA St Louis or China Cohorts.

Curriculum

The SJMSOM IIT Bombay Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme intends to achieve an optimum balance of Knowledge building, Perspective giving and Skill building courses. A mix of diverse teaching methods like case study, lecture and discussion, simulation games, collaborative and experiential learning is adapted to provide a holistic learning experience and a complete learning cycle.
The Two-year MBA programme is organized into eight terms. In the first year (first four terms), students gain knowledge on all the disciplines of management through 23 rigorous courses. All the academic courses require case studies, course projects and research by students, which provide exposure to the latest practices in the Industry. Students have the option of doing a 1-month winter project at the end of first 2 terms.
The rigor of the academics in the first year culminates in the Summer Project at the end of the first year of the program. The 2-month project done after the completion of all the foundational courses on management, offers the student an opportunity to learn management practices through live projects in the Industry.
In the four terms following the summer project, the program prepares the student to pursue the management discipline of his choice by offering a wide choice of electives in addition to few core courses. Students can decide to choose electives from any or all the disciplines.

  • Appear in CAT exam and score well

A candidate who meets the following admission criteria can apply to Sri Balaji University for the MBA program of his/her choice. A candidate desirous of admission to the MBA program should :

Be a UGC-recognized university graduate with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category).
Students currently in the final year of their graduation and confident of securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks may also apply for the MBA courses. The admission committee may give more weightage to higher marks in graduation.
It is imperative that the candidate should have taken at least one exam out of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or MH-CET. MAT exams held after Aug/Sept 2024 to May 2025 will be considered for admission to the academic year 2025-27. We believe that true talent cannot be judged based on the score granted by any entrance exam. Hence, we do not have a cut-off score below which if the candidate scores cannot apply to the program.

Cut Offs: Balaji University does not have any specific cut-off scores for CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/MAH-CET. Balaji University gives only 35% of the weightage for the entrance examination while making the merit list.

Group Discussion Round: Candidates who meet the shortlisting requirements are called for the Group Discussion round. This will be for a duration of 30-45 minutes per group. This may include role play, case studies, and extempore speech and GD. 35% of the weightage in the merit list will be given to the GD process. This is an elimination round.

Personal Interview Round: This expert panel interview and the essay marks will carry 30% of the weightage. This panel will assess the candidates on various parameters including the suitability of the candidate for a particular specialization. The panel will also give the opportunity to the applicants to add or delete course options.

The MBA Program at TSM is divided into 6 trimesters that are spread over 2 years, with a mandatory summer internship at the end of the first year. TSM seeks to constantly review the design, content and delivery of various courses for their continued relevance and need to keep pace with the changing business environment and management practices. Project work and case studies are an essential component of the course, as we believe that practical and hands-on learning is the best way forward for management students. There are some projects that certain organizations sponsor; these grant the students the opportunity to interact with actual managers and get a first-hand experience of how corporates run their businesses, how day-to-day activities are managed, and how problems are tackled in the real world.

TSM Madurai final selection will be made based on Entrance exam score, academic performance, performance in the GD, performance in personal interview, performance in Written Ability Test (WAT) prior work experience, verbal and analytical abilities of the candidates.

Curriculum

The PGDM Program has six trimesters, spread over two years, with a summer internship project and social immersion scheduled at the end of Year I. IILM Institute for Higher Education Scholarships are offered to meritorious and needy students in PGDM programs. Details of IILM Lodhi Road Delhi scholarship schemes offered to PGDM students are as below:

1. IILM Lodhi Road Delhi Scholarship Scheme – Category 1: 10% Scholarship Scheme

  • All girl students who are selected for admission to IILM PGDM are eligible for a 10% scholarship
  • All students who are selected for admission to IILM PGDM, and have secured 60% or more marks in B. Tech or B.E.
  • Scholarship to acknowledge outstanding achievement of students in areas of Sports, Culture or Bravery.
  • To encourage students from the states of J&K and the North-East, IILM Delhi offers scholarship of 10%.
  • 10% Scholarship for children of Defence Personnel is offered with 100% tuition fee waiver for Wards of Martyrs

2. IILM Lodhi Road Delhi Scholarship Scheme – Category 2: 40% Scholarship 
Students fulfilling all three criteria mentioned below are eligible for IILM Institute of Higher Education Delhi
