Indian Institute of Management Nagpur has started the Doctoral Programme from the academic year 2021-22. The objective of the programme is to seek, develop, and foster contextually relevant and socially conscious academicians and researchers seeking thought leadership in management fields.
IIM Nagpur PhD program duration is four years. It is a full time programme. No fee is charged from the candidates who are admitted to IIM Nagpur PhD programme. Instead, they are paid monthly stipend of Rs.30,000 per month for first two years and Rs.33,000 per month in last two years to pursue the PhD programme. On completion of the programme, participants will be awarded with Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree by IIM Nagpur

Minimum Marks: The eligibility of Minimum percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exam is – 85% in bachelor’s degree; 60% in Master’s Degree; 50% in professional degree
Final Year Candidates: Candidates who are in the final year of their Master’s/Bachelor’s Programmes that would make them eligible can also apply
Acceptable Entrance Exams: Applicants will need at least one of the following test scores to apply for Ph.D. at IIM Nagpur based on the area they are applying to. Screening examination scores would be accepted for application to Ph.D. Programme if the exam has been taken any time in the last two years. The qualifying entrance exams are - CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, UGC-NET, and UGC-JRF, CSIR-NET
Waivers: PGP (Full-time) alumni of any IIM who have graduated within the past three years will get a waiver from appearing for the screening examinations provided they have graduated with a minimum CGPA equivalent to 60%

IIM Amritsar offers Integrated B.Tech. – MBA Program (IBM) jointly by IIM Amritsar and NIT Jalandhar. The program integrates the curriculum of B.Tech. degree from NIT Jalandhar and MBA degree from IIM Amritsar in 5 years, thereby saving one academic year for the students. The program covers the entire MBA curriculum offered by IIM Amritsar. Courses normally covered in the 1st year of MBA at IIM Amritsar will be covered in Semesters 5-8 of the B.Tech. program through lectures in hybrid mode. In the final year of the IBM program, students are expected to take a minimum of 16 units and a maximum of 18 units of electives divided over three terms. MBA HR programme is aimed at developing professionals who will be able to manage all functions and levels of businesses using their HR managerial knowledge and skills. The First Year of the program offers a 2-week compulsory preparatory program for students to enhance their readiness for the MBA HR program; an Orientation program to familiarize students to the IIM way of learning and acquaints them with the infrastructure, services, and student activities at IIM Amritsar. The first year courses are compulsory and provide basic conceptual knowledge and analytical tools in different functional areas of management. All students undergo eight to ten weeks of summer internship after first year of the program. Summer internship helps students to apply their first year learning by doing organizationally sponsored projects. Second-year MBA HR comprises core courses in HR spread out over the fourth, fifth, and sixth terms of the program. - The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum required percentile in CAT. Candidates are short-listed for PI round conducted by IIM Amritsar.
- Candidates are shortlisted from among the eligible candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and have their interest and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme
- After the PI round, IIM Amritsar will award weightages to various parameters and admission offers are made by IIM Amritsar to successful candidates.
- The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in PI round, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, work experience among others
Admission offer letter would be sent to all successful candidates. Candidates, who are offered admission, need to confirm their acceptance by completing all the required formalities by the stipulated date
