The process includes the following stages:

Step 1: Application Form Submission

Step 2: AI-Based Interview
This interview serves as an elimination round. An automated video interview using AI tools will assess behavioral traits, emotional intelligence, and cognitive reasoning. The AI will generate a candidate profile for further review.

Step 3: SWOC Presentation by the Applicant
Applicants are required to submit a 3–5-minute video or give a live 3-5-minute self-assessment presentation explaining their personal SWOC (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Challenges). This stage assesses their self-awareness, confidence, and communication skills.

Step 4: Final Panel Interview

The curriculum of the MBA programme at RVIM has been structured in a way that gives our students the right blend of scholastic knowledge and practical experience. The course also includes eight hours of skill advancement sessions per week to develop core, entrepreneurial, and life skills. CIMP PGDM Admission 2026 Process

Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna invites applications from eligible candidates appearing for CAT 2025, XAT 2026, MAT (AUG 2025 & onwards), ATMA 2026, CUET2026, GMAT, and CMAT 2026 to two-year full-time residential Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) for the academic session 2026-28.

  • Cost of an Application Form is Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Differently Abled (DA)* candidates).
  • Application forms and Admission Brochure can be obtained from the Institute on all working days from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. Application forms and Admission Brochure can be downloaded from our website www.cimp.ac.in. Candidates may submit the Application Form at the CIMP counter by hand or by post.
  • Applicants can also apply online on our website (www.cimp.ac.in) along with online payment of the application fee. Convenience charges will be applicable in case of online payment. The application fee can be paid through Cash or Credit Card/ Debit Card/Bank Transfer through the designated payment gateway.
  • Payment can also be made by Demand Draft, drawn in favour of Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna, payable at Patna, giving CIMP Application Registration number on the reverse of the Demand Draft. In the absence of the above information, the application will be treated as incomplete and liable to be rejected. All payments by Demand Draft are to be sent to CIMP.

CIMP PGDM Selection Process Admission to the PGDM programme is through the Common Admission Test (CAT 2025), Xavier Aptitude Test ( XAT 2026), Management Aptitude Test (MAT AUG 2025 & onwards), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2026). Selection of the candidates for admission to the 2026-28 batch will be a three-step process:

  • Shortlisting of the candidates will be done on the basis of Test scores (CAT 2025, XAT 2026, MAT AUG 2025 & onwards, ATMA 2026, CUET 2026, GMAT and CMAT 2026) and criteria like the previous academic record and relevant work experience.
  • Shortlisted candidates would be called to attend Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI) during March 2026 (tentatively). Applicants will be informed about the GD / PI schedule through emails/phone.
  • The final merit list would be prepared after considering weighted scores of various components like the Academic record, Test score, Work experience, and Performance in Group Discussion & Personal Interview. Final offer of admission would be declared in the third week of April 2026. Candidates will be notified by courier/speed post/registered post/e-mails.
