Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPEX)
IIM Shillong PGPEx programme is a one year program designed specifically for professionals with work experience. The program aims at equipping the participants with adequate management knowledge and skills to enable them to captain trans national businesses and operate at strategic levels with a global outlook by synergizing all functional areas of management. The International Immersion Module gives students an opportunity to broaden learning and deepen knowledge about an increasingly globalized economic environment. On successful completion of the program, the participants are awarded Executive MBA degree.
During the 12 month program, candidates will develop critical problem-solving skills with functional management knowledge that brings a contemporary solution to today’s challenges. Candidates choose the subjects of their choice, with the flexibility to pursue international immersion and in-company training while experiencing multicultural life and working styles.
Eligible candidate should apply online before the last date. The application for PGPEX admission is invited in two rounds. A candidate can apply in any one round depending upon the outcome in the first round.

Programme Structure/ Term Schedule
- The programme has five terms of course work followed by a dissertation project.
- An academic term is of twelve weeks duration which includes mid-term and end-term examination.
- A participant has to earn a minimum 103.5 credits from 32 courses in which 21 are core courses and 11 are elective courses (3 credits from 29 courses & 1.5 credits from 3 courses) plus 9 credits from dissertation.
- There is a 1.5 credit Experiential Outbound Leadership Training Programme & 1.5 Credit National Immersion Programme.
- A student has to undergo National Immersion module and experiential learning module on leadership competency development. The expenses for National Immersion module shall be borne by the students on actual basis in addition to the fees.
- The students will also undertake industry live projects, 2 practical oriented courses & Dissertation Synopsis submission in the month of July - August 2026.
- The compulsory dissertation / project may be taken up at the workplace and is required to be presented before a panel of experts.

- Online registration will be open till Monday, June 10, 2026, 17:00 hrs.
- Applicants have to make an online payment of Rs.3000 (Rupees three thousand only) inclusive of 18% GST.
- NRI Applicants for MDI Gurgaon will have to make an online payment of Rs. 5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only) inclusive of 18% GST.
- The Applicants must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
The Applicants must have minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other educational Institutions established by an Act of the Parliament or declared as deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 or possess and equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Only paid and full-time work experience required, acquired after completing the Bachelor's Degree. Apprenticeship, Articleship, Internship etc. which form an integral plan of a course of study should not be treated as work experience.
Self-Sponsored /Sponsored Candidates through CAT 2025 /GMAT / XAT 2026
The Applicants must have Common Admission Test (CAT-2025) / a valid GMAT / XAT 2026 score to be eligible for the admission to PGDM-BM.
Foreign/NRI Applicants
- Foreign/NRI applicants can be considered for admission on the basis of their valid GMAT scores. Government of India (GOI) rules will be followed related to admission of these categories of candidates. GOI guidelines will be applicable in determining the status of applicants.
Shortlisting of Applicants for the selection process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT or GMAT or XAT scores. The Applicants would be shortlisted on the basis of their GMAT/CAT/XAT scores will be called for Personal Interview on April 18/19, 2026 (Tentatively) for Phase 1 and on June 20/21, 2026 (tentatively) for phase 2. Post Graduate Programme Sustainability Management (PGP SM)
IIM Lucknow Post Graduate Programme in Sustainability Management (PGP SM) leading to award of MBA Sustainability Management degree, is a two years full time residential programme. Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management stresses upon the philosophy that businesses are embedded in society and cannot be separated from it, and therefore aims to develop management professionals with a holistic perspective on economic, social and environmental issues. IIM Lucknow PGP SM curriculum is divided in six terms spread over two years. The curriculum of PGPSM is rigorous and includes specialized courses on sustainability from the first year itself, without missing out on the general management courses. In the second year, the students get exposure to sustainability in detail through well designed compulsory courses in Terms IV & V, and elective courses in Term VI.
The second year has an integrated project for three terms (up to 9 months) as an integral part of the curriculum. With course work running in parallel, the students get a day off every week to work on live projects with industry. IIM PGP-FABM programme curriculum has a solid managerial foundation, a focus on food and agribusiness marketplace, and is designed to build and enhance a global perspective among participants. The course comprises three components: the core management courses, compulsory food and agribusiness related courses and electives courses. The core programme consists of 34 core management courses encompassing 23.3 credits in the first year and is common with the PGP to enhance learning due to multiple perspectives and competitiveness. The first year is spread over three terms, each of which is often to twelve weeks’ duration. The compulsory package in the programme is designed to:
- Provide basic conceptual and analytical knowledge and inculcate attitudes and skills necessary for managerial effectiveness in different functional areas of agri-business management.
- Develop an integrated view of organizational and managerial functioning and an understanding of the interdependencies of subsystems; and
- Create awareness and understanding of environmental forces impinging on managerial behavior.
Following the first year programme, students undergo Rural Immersion in two phases for a period of about four weeks and summer internship for a period of eight weeks with the institute’s corporate partners, which provide students field and organizational experience.
The second year of the programme consists of compulsory as well as elective courses and is designed to impart specialized multi-functional knowledge and skills required by food and agri-business sector managers for excellence in planning, decision-making, organization and implementation in different sub-sectors and activities in the sector including agriculture, food, and agribusiness, rural and allied sectors. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in agricultural sciences or agriculture-related disciplines, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. In case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category, this is relaxed to 45%. The Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
In case the candidate has obtained bachelor’s degree in Non Agriculture Area, the candidate would be treated eligible if he/she has keen interest in Agriculture and allied activities, Food processing, Rural development among others. IIM Ahmedabad has instituted a number of scholarships to the PGP-FABM students which include Need-Based Scholarship Scheme; scholarships offered by Government of India, by Industry and Corporate Sector, by IIM-A Alumni, Scholarships for Entrepreneurship, Scholarships for reserved category and minority students among others.
IIMA has a Special Need-based scholarship. It is the endeavour of the Institute that no student be denied opportunity to pursue the two year PGP-FABM for want of adequate financial resources. All students admitted to the PGP-FABM whose gross annual family income is below Rs.15,00,000 during the previous financial year are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
IIMA offers Scholarships for students who graduate from IIMA and going for entrepreneurship to encourage the graduating students to become entrepreneurs. The Institute has decided to initiate a scheme of providing a monthly stipend of Rs.30,000/- for at most three consecutive years to two students from every batch.
IIMA also offers Scholarships for students who graduate from IIMA and join “Not-for-Proft” organization In order to encourage students to opt for jobs in NGOs. From every batch two students will be given financial assistance for three consecutive years at the most to facilitate paying out a part of their bank loans they availed for studying in IIMA.
IIM Ahmedabad offers Assistance ships for students who graduate from IIMA and pursue doctoral studies to encourage them to go for doctoral studies in India or abroad. Two students will be given this scholarship for at most three consecutive years
