Curriculum

IILM Institute of Higher Education Delhi benchmarks its curriculum against the best in the world to ensure an academically rigorous, practice and research supported, management education based on principled and ethical values, which maximizes the value add from entry to exit. In the process it fosters the understanding of disruptive, technological changes, challenges current assumptions, and encourages continuous innovation and learning. The PGDM Program has six trimesters, spread over two years, with a summer internship project and social immersion scheduled at the end of Year I. In the first two trimesters participants complete fourteen core courses, followed by two core and four flexi core courses in trimester III. In Year II of the program participants complete eight elective and dissertation, apart from completing two core courses. The Career Development Program and Personal Leadership Program, aimed at preparing students for a career in the corporate runs from trimester I through to trimester V.

IILM offers specializations in Year II in the areas of Finance, Marketing Management, Operations & Technology, Human Resource Management, Data Analytics and General Management. While Year I aims to develop team skills, leadership capability, communication skills, and managerial effectiveness, Year II focuses on equipping students develop domain specific skills that enhances employability through active industry interaction and live projects.

IILM Institute for Higher Education Scholarships are offered to meritorious and needy students in PGDM programs. Details of IILM Lodhi Road Delhi scholarship schemes offered to PGDM students are as below:

1. IILM Lodhi Road Delhi Scholarship Scheme – Category 1: 10% Scholarship Scheme

  • All girl students who are selected for admission to IILM PGDM are eligible for a 10% scholarship
  • All students who are selected for admission to IILM PGDM, and have secured 60% or more marks in B. Tech or B.E.
  • Scholarship to acknowledge outstanding achievement of students in areas of Sports, Culture or Bravery.
  • To encourage students from the states of J&K and the North-East, IILM Delhi offers scholarship of 10%.
  • 10% Scholarship for children of Defence Personnel is offered with 100% tuition fee waiver for Wards of Martyrs

The 2 year Post-graduate Diploma Program in Business Design offered at SOIL Manesar campus, challenge students to tackle problems that are happening now.
SOIL uses Harvard Publishing, Global Curriculum templates, Case-based study methodology to teach traditional business subjects using innovative design thinking practices and liberal arts immersions during the 2 years on campus. SOIL PGDM students work with non-profit, corporate, and public entities to develop projects that address real-world challenges. While some projects last just hours, others last weeks – and in some cases, projects span years as student teams turn them into organizations that help people around the world.  

SOIL offers experiential learning through different immersion programs like Rural Immersion, Global Immersion, Himalayan Retreat, Discover India Journey. Students need to work closely with a non-for-profit organization working towards community development. The projects will be chosen depending on the most critical need areas of the organization. SOIL 2 Years PGDM Admission Process:
Stage-1: The Candidates should submit an online application by paying the requisite application fee of Rs.2000 for SOIL PGDM Admission 2024 
Stage-2: Candidates should apply and appear in at least one of the MBA entrance exams the scores of which are acceptable by SOIL like CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT among others.
Stage-3: The Shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of past academic performance, admission test scores (CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT), and relevant work experience. Candidates will be intimated regarding their shortlisting through email / SMS to their registered phone number with every detail. Candidate should check  GEPI Shortilisting status at SOIL website

Curriculum

SOIL PGDM program blends Design Thinking and Liberal Arts with Management in a unique experiential curriculum that will provide a rich portfolio of exposure and skills spanning traditional as well as emerging areas of business management.
 
SOIL unique curriculum integrates management disciplines with liberal Arts and Design thinking. SOIL has made changes in the curriculum design that is developmental, personalized, and evolving; pedagogy that is student-centered, inquiry-based, authentic, and purposeful. Blended learning will is new norm, which has also been envisaged in Curriculum. SOIL has only invested a large amount of capital into an online LMS system for students and faculty to adapt to. 

SOIL curriculum includes case studies and simulation as well as experiential learning modules. The curriculum focuses not just on “knowing” or “doing”, but more on “being”. Create an account by filling in the details. You will receive a unique account ID and password. Using it re-login into your account and complete the registration process. 
Enter all the details; academic, personal, work experience related.
Enter the CAT/XAT/GMAT registration details and upload the score card (if applicable).
Upload scanned photograph. 
Select the date for “Design Thinking Workshop” round while filling the application.
SOIL PGDM application fee is INR 2000. Pay the application fee online.

NSB Bangalore MBA Admission Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

  • Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration after class 12, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. (45% marks for SC/ST)
  • Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for Admission.

NSB Bangalore Final Selection round consists of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). NSB Bangalore final selection will be made based on entrance exam score, academic performance, performance in the GD, performance in personal interview, prior work experience, level of maturity and motivation, ability and willingness to make a commitment to the graduate study in business, extracurricular achievements, honours and awards.

After preparing merit list based on above parameters, NSB Bangalore Final Admission Offer will be made to successful candidates. Finally selected candidates need to pay the first installment of fees by the due date to secure their seat for NSB Bangalore MBA program
