MDI Gurgaon PGDM BM Selection Process & Admission Offer
- Shortlisting of Applicants for the Personal Interview will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their valid GMAT/CAT/XAT scores.

Programme Structure/ Term Schedule
- The programme has five terms of course work followed by a dissertation project.
- An academic term is of twelve weeks duration which includes mid-term and end-term examination.
- A participant has to earn a minimum 103.5 credits from 32 courses in which 21 are core courses and 11 are elective courses (3 credits from 29 courses & 1.5 credits from 3 courses) plus 9 credits from dissertation.
- There is a 1.5 credit Experiential Outbound Leadership Training Programme & 1.5 Credit National Immersion Programme.
- A student has to undergo National Immersion module and experiential learning module on leadership competency development. The expenses for National Immersion module shall be borne by the students on actual basis in addition to the fees.
- The students will also undertake industry live projects, 2 practical oriented courses & Dissertation Synopsis submission in the month of July - August 2026.
- The compulsory dissertation / project may be taken up at the workplace and is required to be presented before a panel of experts.
Online Application Process
- The online application form for PGDM-BM Programme of MDI Gurgaon shall be available on the MDI website https://www.mdi.ac.in. with necessary instructions.
- Online registration will be open till Monday, June 10, 2026, 17:00 hrs.
- Applicants have to make an online payment of Rs.3000 (Rupees three thousand only) inclusive of 18% GST.
- NRI Applicants for MDI Gurgaon will have to make an online payment of Rs. 5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only) inclusive of 18% GST.
- The Applicants must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
The Applicants must have minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other educational Institutions established by an Act of the Parliament or declared as deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 or possess and equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
A minimum of 3-year of post-qualification work experience as on 31st March 2026.
Only paid and full-time work experience required, acquired after completing the Bachelor's Degree. Apprenticeship, Articleship, Internship etc. which form an integral plan of a course of study should not be treated as work experience.
Self-Sponsored /Sponsored Candidates through CAT 2025 /GMAT / XAT 2026
The Applicants must have Common Admission Test (CAT-2025) / a valid GMAT / XAT 2026 score to be eligible for the admission to PGDM-BM.
Foreign/NRI Applicants
- Foreign/NRI applicants can be considered for admission on the basis of their valid GMAT scores. Government of India (GOI) rules will be followed related to admission of these categories of candidates. GOI guidelines will be applicable in determining the status of applicants.
Shortlisting of Applicants for the selection process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT or GMAT or XAT scores. The Applicants would be shortlisted on the basis of their GMAT/CAT/XAT scores will be called for Personal Interview on April 18/19, 2026 (Tentatively) for Phase 1 and on June 20/21, 2026 (tentatively) for phase 2. Post Graduate Program In Management (PGP)
The Post-graduate Programme in Management is the flagship MBA programme of IIMK. It prepares the young and dynamic graduates for senior level positions in industry and other sectors. The PGP programme also lays greater emphasis on knowledge assimilation and its effective use than on its mere reproduction. Multiple pedagogical tools including lectures, case studies, exercises, role-plays, simulation, video shows are used to facilitate effective learning in the courses. The continuous evaluation system is rigorous comprising of quizzes, assignments, mid-term and end-term examinations.

The 2 year full time PGP at IIM Kozhikode has six-terms spread over two years. The first-year courses (term I to III) are aimed at building the foundations of the PGP. IIM Bangalore MBA curricula, innovative teaching methods, exposure to industry-best practices and experiential learning emphasize the distinctive challenges of managing in the global context. IIMB MBA programme offers Core and Elective courses. The Core courses are compulsory courses offered in the first year. Elective courses are offered in the third term of the first year and all terms of the second year, where students get the opportunity to choose from a basket of multidisciplinary courses. Such candidates will be preferred in the shortlisting process as against those who have only a high CAT score but have poor academic profile and poor quality of work experience. The emphasis in shortlisting process at IIM Bangalore is on consistent and high performance in academics and other parameters.
Step 3: After the WAT & PI round, admission offers are made by IIM Bangalore to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in WAT & PI, Performance in past academics, Performance in CAT, Quality of Work Experience among others
Step 4: Final Admission Offer will be made by IIM Bangalore to the candidates on the basis of Final Score arrived after awarding the weightage scores on all the components.
Candidates, who are finally selected, need to confirm their acceptance by completing all the required formalities by the stipulated date.
