The two-year full-time, residential, Master in Business Administration (MBA) programme, popularly known as Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is the flagship programme of IIM Nagpur. The programme aims to create leaders, managers and entrepreneurs with strong conceptual foundations and analytical meticulousness ingrained in a sound understanding of the socio-economic context. The programme facilitates students to take on challenges in achieving professional excellence and self- development.
The MBA has been designed with a view to prepare the students for leadership roles. IIM Nagpur MBA has unique industry connect programme of bringing ‘corporate into classrooms’ to produce relevant talent for corporate world. Admission/Selection Process for Candidates for MBA program at IIM Nagpur is through CAT Exam and IIM CAP PI round. The selection of the candidates for admission to the MBA at IIM Tiruchirappalli is a three-step process- Pre shortlisting, Shortlisting, and participation in IIM CAP PI round

The IIM Nagpur curriculum is benchmarked against the best in the world to ensure that excellent management education is imparted based on vibrant pedagogic practices while maintaining contemporary relevance in the Indian scenario. Applicants are required to fill in the online application form through https://management.nirmauni.ac.in, and pay the prescribed application fee (non refundable) through credit card/debit card/net banking before the last date of application. Application fees is Rs.1500
- A three-year bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
- The candidates registered in the programme should have appeared in all graduation examinations by the time of joining the programme. Any outstanding or backlog status in the graduation examinations would disqualify the candidate from the admission.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelor's Degree can also apply provided they furnish proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria within three months of commencement of the programme
- Applicants are required to appear for the Common Admission Test [CAT 2023] conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM).
The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in PI round, academics, Quality of Work Experience among others.

To encourage and help the meritorious students on the basis of merit and merit-cum-means, the University has decided to provide the scholarships as under:
Category 1 - Based on Merit only
All India Category - Top 20 Students - Amount (Rs) per annum 1,00,000/- each
Admitted through ACPC - Top 10 Students - Amount (Rs) per annum 1,00,000/- each
Eligibility criteria for continuation/ renewal of the scholarship
1. During the entire previous year, the conduct of the student should be good
2. No acts or omission which results in unlawful behavior, malafide intention maligning the University brand in digital, print, or social media, promoting, supporting or sharing any content which is against the University brand
3. No disciplinary action was initiated/sanctioned against the student under the student handbook or compliance with norms as prescribed by the University
4. The student should maintain merit and get CGPA of 7.0 and above and should have passed all courses of study in the first attempt in the previous year
5. The student is not caught in unfair means in any of the examinations conducted either by the Institute or University
6. The student should maintain minimum attendance criteria except the absence with genuine reasons for which the permission of the Ho I was obtained particularly in the case of illness
7. It will be the responsibility of the applicant to check the eligibility before submitting application. In case the applicant is found non-eligible at any stage, his/her submission or scholarship will be disqualified
