IIM Jammu offers 2 year full time MBA in Hospital Administration & Health Care Management. The courses on MBA HA & HM Management are offered in collaboration of AIIMS Jammu and IIT Jammu. While AIIMS Jammu will offer courses on Hospital Administration and Health Care, IIT Jammu will offer courses Technology and IIM Jammu will offer courses on Management. The two years of the MBA (HA & HM) program is divided into six terms, each year consisting of three terms. The first year has core courses and a Summer Internship Program. The second year has elective courses and two Course of Independent Study. The Program structure of MBA (HA & HM) entails every student to compulsory complete 64.5 core course credits in the first year; 3.0 credits from the 8-10-week long ‘Summer Internship Program (SIP)’ at the end of Term III with a company or an organization from healthcare industry; 6.0 credits from two ‘Course of Independent Study (CIS)’ in the second year: one in a hospital and the other in a healthcare organization; 42.0 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year.
Additionally, students are permitted to Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the second year) by paying the requisite additional fees; International Student Exchange Program: Merit Based in the second year and National and International Live Projects. Every student has to undergo a mandatory non-credit course on "Happiness" in the first year of the MBA (HA & HM) program. Every student need to compulsorily complete a week-long Bharat Immersion Programme Internship as a partial requirement of the CSR course. Summer Internship Project of 8 to 10 weeks with a company or an organization from healthcare industry must be completed. It has 3.0 credit units assigned to it.
A student must take 42.0 credits from elective courses offered during the second year and 6.0 credits from two Course of Independent Study (CIS). Students need to take 14 elective courses in the second year provided all elective courses carry 3.0 credit units. The requirements of number of electives can increase or decrease depending on the credit units of chosen electives. Two CIS - one in Term IV with a hospital and the other in Term V with a healthcare organization should be completed. Each CIS has 3.0 credit units assigned to it. International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) is also offered on Merit Basis
Register and apply for CAT exam by paying the requisite application fee for the exam. On the page 4 of CAT application form, you need to select IIM Jammu PGP (MBA) and other programs and select the interview city. Your application for IIM Jammu admission is submitted. At this stage, you do not need to apply and pay separately for IIM Jammu Admission. The course structure of MBA Program entails every MBA student to compulsory complete 64.5 core course credits in the first year; 3 credits from the 8-10-week long Summer Internship Program with a company or an organization and 48 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year. Additionally, students are permitted to Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the 2nd year) by paying the requisite additional fees; Courses of Independent Study (CIS)/Dissertation Projects (with a faculty) in lieu of elective courses. The SJMSOM IIT Bombay Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme intends to achieve an optimum balance of Knowledge building, Perspective giving and Skill building courses. A mix of diverse teaching methods like case study, lecture and discussion, simulation games, collaborative and experiential learning is adapted to provide a holistic learning experience and a complete learning cycle.
The Two-year MBA programme is organized into eight terms. In the first year (first four terms), students gain knowledge on all the disciplines of management through 23 rigorous courses. All the academic courses require case studies, course projects and research by students, which provide exposure to the latest practices in the Industry. Students have the option of doing a 1-month winter project at the end of first 2 terms.
The rigor of the academics in the first year culminates in the Summer Project at the end of the first year of the program. The 2-month project done after the completion of all the foundational courses on management, offers the student an opportunity to learn management practices through live projects in the Industry.
In the four terms following the summer project, the program prepares the student to pursue the management discipline of his choice by offering a wide choice of electives in addition to few core courses. Students can decide to choose electives from any or all the disciplines.

After the CAT results are declared, SJMSOM-IIT Bombay opens the application process for MBA admission in January first week. The applicants are required to complete the online application form on the website of the B-school. The application process is detailed below:
- Appear in CAT exam and score well
- Apply separately for admission to MBA at SJMSOM-IIT Bombay
- Download the online application form from the IIT Bombay website.
- Compile all the relevant data required to fill it up, and then proceed to fill up and submit your online application.
- Fill all the mandatory details in one go, otherwise the data will be lost as the session expires in 50 minutes.
- Use the latest versions of Chrome or Firefox to fill up the application form.
- Pay online the application fees of Rs.1600 (Rs.800 for SC/ST/PwD)
IIT Bombay MBA Admission eligibility criteria prescribe following required qualifications for IIT Bombay MBA admission
- A Bachelor’s degree of 4 years duration, or a Master’s degree with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10 from the universities
- The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of 4 years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
- Applicants appearing for final year of the degree and those who have completed the degree requirements and awaiting results can also apply. The applicant should have secured an aggregate of 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent till the latest exam that has been completed and whose scores are available.
- CA/ICWA, with a first-class Bachelor’s degree in any discipline having secured 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) in aggregate (including all years/semesters) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10.
- The candidate should have appeared in CAT exam and must score minimum prescribed sectional and overall score to become eligible for admission
SJMSoM IIT Bombay opens its MBA admission after release of CAT exam result and keeps it open for a month. SJMSoM IIT Bombay MBA Admission is a two step process involving the preliminary screening based on CAT score leading to shortlisting of candidates and the Final admission selection Criteria with CAT exam score and other key parameters.

- SJMSoM-IIT Bombay will shortlist the candidates on the basis of CAT score, past academic performance, and other criteria. Minimum CAT cut off is 90 percentile. Key weightages for shortlisting are as below:

Xavier Business School (XBS), a member of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes), offers a 2-year full-time MBA Degree Programme (AICTE approved), with specializations in the domain of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource (HR) and Business Analytics.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on National Level Entrance Test Score (XAT, CAT, GMAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, NMAT)
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and Writing Ability Test as part of the selection process.

MBA programme in XBS has been designed keeping in mind the current industry scenario. It is an application-based programme where the focus is not only given to classroom teaching but also on out-of-class learning. XBS hosts number of G-talks with the focus on outbound learning where students get enriched by valuable inputs from the industry experts. The faculty in XBS consists of a mixture of both in-house and guest faculties with extensive teaching and work experience. The guest faculties include both experts from the academic domain and professionals from the industry.
XBS offers specializations in the domain of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource (HR) and Business Analytics.
- Successful completion of any Undergraduate Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from a recognized University (Approved by UGC), with a minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent grade point) in the aggregate. (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and Christian candidates).
- If the final degree result is not published at the time of application, % of marks for eligibility will be calculated on the basis of 1st to 4th Semester or 1st & 2nd Year (as applicable) (6th Semester in case of a 4 Year Degree Program) and the candidate is required to pass in all papers. If, at the time of admission, the final degree mark sheet cannot be shown, the admission will be provisional, and the student must produce the same latest by October 31st, 2024 ; failing which the admission is liable to be cancelled.
- Appearance in any of the below-mentioned National Level MBA Entrance Tests: XAT, CAT, GMAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, & NMAT with a decent percentage/percentile score, valid for the present academic year. The primary selection list for GD-PI-WAT will be prepared by the Institute on the basis of this score.
