Jansons School of Business MBA Admission 2025  is through various MBA entrance exam scores. Jansons Coimbatore Admission Process has following steps:

Step-1: Apply & Appear in acceptable MBA entrance exam and Apply Separately for Jansons Coimbatore Admission  

Step-2: Shortlist: Candidates will be shortlisted based upon MBA entrance exam score and other parameters

Step 1 – Group Discussion: Shortlisted candidates will receive an email/ phone or GD/PI schedule by Post about the date and time of Group Discussion. GD round comprises a group of 8-10 candidates who will participate in Group Discussion process. Clarity of opinion/views will add to the performance in GD round. The GD round evaluates individual strengths, weaknesses, inclinations, and abilities to determine their suitability for business studies and future careers. 

Step 2 – Personal Interview (PI): Each candidate undergoes a Personal Interview to assess their alignment with Jansons School of Business values. The PI panel comprises 2-3 experts drawn from faculty, industry professionals, alumni. Interviews last 15-30 minutes.

Admission Process

GIM Goa PGDM Banking, Insurance & Financial Services (BIFS) Admission Process 2026 to admit students with the following profile mix:

  • Experience in working in financial Sector
  • Related Qualification Profiles
  • Aptitude & Interest in BIFS

While in the most MBA programme, a cut off score in entrance exam is kept as an important criterion for admission, in GIM Goa Banking, Insurance and Financial Services programme there is no specific cut-off. This is because to succeed in the world of Banking Insurance & Financial Services, the overall profile of the candidate is much more important than just the entrance exam cut-off.

A select group of candidates shall be invited in selected cities for Achievers Round. All other candidates shall be interviewed online for regular round. Shortlisted candidates will also need to complete an online Written Aptitude Test (WAT), with the date to be announced in due course.

GIM Goa Admission Process 2026

  • Apply Online: This is the first step.
  • Achievers Round: If shortlisted for Achiever Round, appear in interview and get spot admission offer
  • Regular Round: If not shortlisted for Achievers Round, you can get shortlisted in Regular Round based on CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores. Merit list is released for regular round.
  • Admission Letter is issued to selected candidates.

GIM Goa Achiever’s Round
The Achiever's Round of GIM Goa is a profile-based shortlisting process that evaluates candidates based on program-specific or other achievements in areas such as academics, sports, co-curricular activities, and professional experience. This round applies to all programs based on the candidate's first preference. 

Candidates are shortlisted for the Achiever's Round without considering CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores initially, which is factored in at the later stage. Select candidates from the Achievers Round receive a spot admission offer, even before their CAT/XAT/GMAT scores are available. GIM Goa Achiever Round interviews are conducted in Delhi, Goa and Kolkata. 

Curriculum

GIM Goa PGDM Banking, Insurance & Financial Services (BIFS) programme curriculum offers regular engagement of students with industry experts by way of classroom lectures, seminars and one-on-one mentorship (internships). After completion of three terms in the campus, students are required to immediately join their respective companies to do internship projects in the areas of banking, insurance or financial services. 

GIM Goa PGDM BIFS course content adapts to evolving industry needs, covering Digital Banking, Fintech (Blockchain, Payment Tech, Wealth-tech, Insurtech, Reg tech), and AI for Banking. This sets GIM apart from others. Students are encouraged to work on live company projects in order to become fully capable of comprehending actual business situations and applying appropriate tools and techniques of BIFS to get enhanced insights into/around the issues/problems sensed by them so as to devise optimum solutions. The program covers various management domains, with a mix of core and elective courses, a Give Goa project, Summer Internship Project.
