A two-year, full-time residential program, Amrita's MBA is considered on par with the best in the world. Case Studies, Guest Lectures, Workshops, Seminars, Games, Role Plays - Amrita School of Business integrates a healthy blend of methodologies in imparting holistic nourishment to young managers in the making. These nourish the basic concepts that reinforce the process of creating successful managers.

At IBA, students are treated as colleagues who work in teams as ‘Task Forces’. This gives them a first-hand experience to organise guest lectures, seminars, even identify and screen faculty, coordinate directly with visiting faculty, etc. The last three trimesters are devoted to building entrepreneurial abilities in the students because a successful manager is perceived as a wealth creator for the organisation. The chosen specialisation subjects are learnt exhaustively in these three trimesters.

The last lap at IBA is devoted to placement exercise. Preparing the students for this begins much earlier through a process of communication, mock interview sessions, GDs, etc. Living through this programme is intense and gruelling. XIME PGDM Curriculum is reviewed and updated at regular intervals in consultation with industry leaders, alumni, students, and faculty. 

The First Year of the course covers the foundational subjects which impart to the students a sound knowledge of the essential functional areas of business and management. Special attention is given to incorporate add-on courses on Python, R, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, SixSigma and Fintech.

The Summer Internship Programme(SIP) and Socially Useful and Productive Activity(SUPA) provides the students direct interaction with corporates and an exposure to management issues.
