The new curriculum of M.Sc. Finance offers all the essential academic and professional skills necessary for a successful career in finance. The programme focuses on financial decision-making from a management perspective. The programme is divided into four semesters. The first semester introduces the students to the environment of accounting, finance and basic tools of analysis. This semester contains six main courses: economics, quantitative methods, accounting and financial reporting, financial management, costing and taxation. XIME Bangalore eligibility criteria have following requirements:
- Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- The candidate should have appeared in at least one of the eligible entrance exams

Following steps are included in the XIME Selection Process:
Step 1: Must have appeared in one of the eligible entrance tests scores of which are accepted by XIME Bangalore. Acceptable exam scores for admission 2025 are XAT 2025, CAT 2024, CMAT 2025, MAT - September 2024, December 2024, February 2025 & May 2025; GMAT - 2023, 2024 & 2025
Step 2: The candidate should apply to XIME Bangalore online before the deadline. The application fee of Rs.2000/- should also be paid online.
Step 3: Candidates are short-listed for Group Discussion & Personal Interview (PI) round from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance exam score and have applied to the programme of XIME Bangalore.
Step 4: After the GD-PI round, admission offers are made by XIME to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in GD-PI round, academics, Extra curricular achievements, Work Experience among others
