You should take a minimum number of 35-40 Mock tests before the exam of different difficulty level. To prepare for the exam, it is not only sufficient to take Mocks but more important is to analyse your mistakes in them and improve for future.

If you are devoting time and studying 3-4 hours a day, 4-6 months are considered sufficient to cover the syllabus.

Decision Making is considered more difficult to cover. However, it depends on your aptitude. If you have Mathematics back ground, you may find Quant and DI easier and VALR difficult, but if you have Arts/Humanities back ground, you may find VALR easier than QADI

Yes, from the year 2024, broad syllabus for upcoming XAT exam is published. For example XLRI has outlined that GK section in XAT 2025 would consist of 8 questions on Static GK and 12 questions on Current Affairs.
