MBA Business Analytics program curriculum focuses to develop professionals who will be able to manage all functions and levels of businesses using their analytical and managerial knowledge and skills. The First Year of the program offers a 2-week compulsory preparatory program for students to enhance their readiness for the MBA BA program; an Orientation program to familiarize students to the IIM way of learning and acquaints them with the infrastructure, services, and student activities at IIM Amritsar. The first year courses are compulsory and provide basic conceptual knowledge and analytical tools in different functional areas of management. All students undergo eight to ten weeks of summer internship after first year of the program. Welingkar Mumbai PGDM Healthcare Management program admission is based on a Profile-based selection process that assigns different weightages to MBA entrance exam scores, prior academic performances, work experience, Group Discussion, Personal Interview along with the written test scores. Dr Rinti Banerjee Scholarship for PGDM Healthcare Management student
Dr Rinti Banerjee scholarship in Healthcare: This scholarship covers 50% of the fee for one woman student of the PGDM Healthcare student with MBBS background. The scholarship was started in 2022, to encourage female MBBS students to pursue management education in healthcare. This scholarship is expected to attract more women medicos to Management and hopes to increase women in leadership positions in the healthcare sector.
Dr Rinti Banerjee was an eminent professor and researcher at IIT-Bombay. From the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at the institute, she had done a lot of research on the pandemic and filed several patents and licensed some of her research output to companies. An expert in biomaterials, nanomedicine and drug delivery she has published over 100 papers in international journals.
This scholarship will apply to students once they are admitted to the program, based on the scholarship conditions.
