The Post- Graduate Diploma in Management (Financial Management) programme at LBSIM was launched in 2008. Step-5: Merit List Generation. Result of the selected candidates shall be displayed on the Institute’s Notice Board and uploaded on the Institute’s website

PGDM (Financial Management) is a two-year full-time programme spread over six trimesters. During the first year, the focus is primarily on building a strong foundation of conceptual and analytical skills required for advanced and specialized courses in finance pursued in the second year. In the first year, students study 21 courses covering Economics, Human Relations, Quantitative Techniques, Financial & Cost Accounting, Corporate Finance, Information Technology.
LBSIM PGDM Financial Management equips the students with comprehensive knowledge of financial management to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ethical mindset. The programme enables the participants to understand business challenges holistically and recognise the interplay of finance with other disciplines.
PGDM Student connect programme is offered before the commencement of regular classes to help incoming candidates cope with the rigours of PGDM Programme by offering courses that bridge the knowledge gap between the undergraduate degree (in different domains) & PGDM Curriculum.
In the second year, students have to opt for six electives in addition to Eleven compulsory courses. This enables the students to pursue an in-depth learning in the area of their specialisation. The electives cover a variety of relevant areas, such as Investment Management, Risk Management, Banking & Financial Services and Strategic Accounting & Control. Participants are also required to complete online certifications which carry credits.
Each student is required to undertake summer internship in a company of repute for the duration of 8-10 weeks as part of the course curriculum after the third trimester examination. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of 'Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management' Delhi, payable at New Delhi.

The Two-Year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (General) programme consists of six trimesters. The course structure has been designed to ensure that the management graduates of LBSIM develop a judicious blend of strategic thinking, tactical implementation, specialized knowledge and general management skills. BIMTECH PGDM Admission Eligibility Criteria have following key requirements:
- Graduates in any discipline with minimum 3 years bachelor’s degree with 50% marks

BIMTECH PGDM Retail Management admission and selection process 2026 is based on following steps:
Step 1: Shortlisting: Candidates who apply online for the admission will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT score (as per the eligibility) and Past Academic Record
Step 2: Personal Interview Round: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process which consists of Extempore & Personal Interview (PI).
Step 3: Entrance Exam Scores: The candidates would be required to upload their entrance test percentiles (CAT/XAT/CMAT) the moment results are out.
