MDI Gurgaon PGDM HRM programme is spread over six terms of three months each. The core courses are covered in first 4 terms. The programme has compulsory eight-to-ten weeks long internship after Term 3. During term 5 & 6, students can opt for electives from OB & HRM area and can also enrich their elective basket by opting for maximum two electives from other functional areas such as Marketing, Finance, or Strategy & General Management. About 20 percent of the course is taught by industry practitioners.

MDI Gurgaon PGDM HRM eligibility criteria for PGDM Admission have following key points:
- The candidate must hold a minimum 3 years’ bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

Fellow Programme in Management
The Fellow Programme in Management (non-residential) is designed to cater to the scholarly needs of working business executives. It prepare executives for careers in management teaching and research, as well as in management practice, consulting and development. Therefore, executives aspiring for the FPM (non-residential) Programme should be willing to devote time and energy that the Programme requires. Classes will normally be held during weekends or in the evening. The course work in first year will be completed in three terms, which are equivalent to approximately nine months.
MDI’s Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Government of India and recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to a PhD degree of an Indian University. The Fellow Programme in Management encourages rigorous interdisciplinary re-search in contemporary areas of management.
Since its inception in 1999, MDI’s Fellow Programme has been growing steadily, both in numbers, as well as its contribution to the reservoir of knowledge. Seminars, presentations, discussion forums and informal knowledge-sharing sessions throughout the year keep research scholars intellectually stimulated with peers and faculty. MDI’s Fellow Programme encourages research in current and contemporary areas of interest in management. The primary purpose of our Fellow Programme is to develop scholars who will stretch the boundaries of management thought and will also impact contemporary management practices in real time.

Admission process for MDI FPM programme is as below:
- Candidates are required to take Standard Tests like CAT/ GMAT/GRE/ UGC-JRF/GATE and apply through these tests. However, for full-time two-year PGP alumni from MDI, IIMs, XLRI & FMS standard test scores may be waived off.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview either online or offline in at MDI Gurgaon
- Based on the performance in academics, entrance exam, PI round, interest in research final selection will be made
The Fellow Programme in Management has to be completed within 4 years after the registration, which may be extended up to 7 years maximum (seven years) depending on the merit of the case and favorable review of work progress by the FPM Committee. The FPM Programme consists of two phases. The first phase of the Programme involves course work, followed by a Comprehensive Research Evaluation. The second phase requires scholars to work on their thesis, which involves the preparation of a thesis proposal, writing of the thesis, a final Viva Voce, an examination based on the thesis.
The student is required to take First Year courses of the Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). These courses are approximately of three months duration. Only after completion of PGDM level course work, can the student start with FPM level course work. Scholars who already hold an MBA degree are exempted from this course work requirement. Fellow-level courses consititute three levels General Core Courses, Area Core Courses and Elective Courses.
Applicants have to apply online by visiting the MDI Gurgaon website. They can click on the programme they wish to apply for and follow the instructions given on the website. Candidates have to make an online payment of Rs. 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) inclusive of 18% GST using Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.
Eligibility Criteria for MDI FPM (Non Residential) admission are as below:
- A master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division) or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE /AIU with a Bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification after com-pleting higher secondary schooling (10+2), Or Five year integrated Master’s Degree Programme in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division), obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2), Or
- A minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent CGPA along with Master’s degree with 60% (with first division).
- Candidates with gender diversity, PWD (person with a disability), EWS (Economically weaker section), or rural-urban diversity are encouraged to apply for the FPM programme.
- For FPM (Non-Residential), minimum age of 35 years and a minimum of 10 years of managerial work experience, preferable at senior-level, is required as on last date of application.

SPJIMR PGDM curriculum is designed to prepare socially responsible managers and leaders. The first year of SPJIMR PGDM program commences with the Harvard Business School’s pre-MBA foundation module. - SPJIMR selection process lays considerable emphasis on the ability of the candidate to put in time and effort for this programme, his/her managerial aptitude as well as maturity, ethics and values.
- SPJIMR also accepts test scores of Executive Assessment (EA), administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The PGEMP Programme is conducted in four phases spread across 21 months and involves 60 full days of classes at SPJIMR campus in Mumbai. The 60 days on-campus period is divided into eight contact periods with Initial contact period of 3 days for the Pre-foundation phase; 6 contact periods of 9 consecutive days each, over the Foundation, Integration, and Customisation phases. The off-campus period between two consecutive contacts is 10-12 weeks. The last contact period of 3 days for final exams and Capstone Project presentation. Residency on campus during contact period is mandatory.
The programme is divided into four phases and each phase is equally important. Specializations are offered in General Management & Strategy, Operational Excellence, Innovation and Growth.
The candidate has to remain employed during the programme as he/she will be required to apply the concepts to his/her own job context. As such, continuous and full-time employment is mandatory throughout the programme. In the event the candidate is in between jobs and not in employment, he/she will have to take a break from the programme till such time he/she resumes full-time employment.

- SPJIMR selection process lays considerable emphasis on the ability of the candidate to put in time and effort for this programme, his/her managerial aptitude as well as maturity, ethics and values.
- SPJIMR also accepts test scores of Executive Assessment (EA), administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). If you have a valid EA score, you can skip the test of reasoning mentioned in the above process. Please submit your score to the admissions team at the time of application
- The selection process takes around half a day and comprises of Test of Reasoning; Group discussion; Personal Interview
- On the basis of above components final merit list will be prepared and admission offer will be released
- Candidates need to accept the admission offer and pay the fees
Post Graduate Programme in General Management (PGPGM)
SPJIMR’s Post Graduate Programme in General Management (PGPGM) is a two-year weekend programme ideally suited for mid-career professionals who wish to pursue an Executive MBA without taking a career break. Participants are awarded the AICTE-approved diploma, “PGDM – Executive Management Programme”, on successfully completing the PGPGM programme. Our world-class faculty deploys a unique application-oriented pedagogy that relates classroom activities and assignments to the programme participant’s work context. In addition, the stimulating classroom discussions with a cohort of highly experienced co-learners from diverse industries expose participants to a broad range of perspectives. The programme design enables participants to maximise new learning while excelling in their day jobs and expanding their professional network.

PGPGM is an AICTE-approved 2-year diploma programme for working professionals. With sessions on every alternate weekend, it is specially designed for busy executives with four or more years of work experience who do not want to take a career break for further studies. On successfully completing the programme, participants will be awarded the AICTE-approved diploma, “PGDM- Executive Management Programme”.
For NCR participants, weekend sessions will be held at Delhi Campus, with annual immersions in the Mumbai Campus. For Maharashtra participants, weekend sessions will be held at Mumbai Campus. Candidates from other states can attend sessions at either one of these campuses.
PGPGM is specifically customised for mid to senior management executives and provides the essential knowledge and skills of an Executive MBA programme. The programme architecture comprises four Phases and follows the TLAP model with a focus on Teaching, Learning, Application to the job context and Project (industry-based). The Phase 1 curriculum of the programme is on building the Foundation with foundation courses; Phase 2 and Phase 3 are Integration and Phase 4 is customization of the curriculum. There are seven specializations namely Strategic Brand Management, Sales & Distribution Management, Digital Marketing, Block Chain for Business Applications, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, International Finance, Strategic Cost Management.
- Application forms are available online on the admissions portal and should be filled in by the desirous applicant.
- The application fee is Rs. 1500, which is non-refundable
- Submit Complete employment proof – self-attested copies (Relieving letters from previous employers and offer/ promotion letter from present employer)
- Submit Complete educational proof – self-attested copies (Marksheets and passing certificates of X, XII, Graduation, Post Graduation, etc.)
- Post the application submission date, the applicant will be informed through email about the date of the selection process by the PGPGM office.
- Submit a valid score for any one of the listed admission tests CAT/MAT /GMAT / ATMA/CMAT/XAT
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline. Diploma holders with ten years of experience may also apply
- Academic Record: A good consistent academic record with a minimum of 50% marks at graduation.
- Work Experience: Minimum work experience of four years after graduation.
- Entrance Test: Must take one of the admission tests CAT/MAT /GMAT/ATMA/CMAT/XAT
