International Conference grants of up to Rs. 3,00,000/- and National Conference grants of up to Rs. 60,000/- towards accepted papers are paid
In addition to this grants for publication of papers in national and international Journals, participation in international conferences are also paid

IIMV PhD Program comprises of two phases Coursework and Thesis work. The phase-1 of Course work covers the first year of the programme. Successful completion of the first phase requires passing the Comprehensive Examination (Written & Viva) at the end of the first academic year. a student is required to take 18-credit courses over this period.
On completion of Phase 1, the students begin thesis work consisting of a thesis proposal and a final thesis-evaluation. The area concerned can decide on the combination of PGP and PhD courses to be offered in year, subject to the minimum requirements. so that the student completes 27 credits before the comprehensive qualifying examination.

IMT Nagpur students of the PGDM Financial Management Programme earn their credits through compulsory courses, specialization courses and the internship project. The rigorous nature of the program equips the students with necessary hard and soft skills to eventually excel in the leadership role. The program offers various streams of specializations from the various functional areas and the students can opt for their chosen specialization domain.
In the first year (Term I, II & III), the student will learn concepts in all the key areas of management. In Term III, the students have to choose two flexi-core courses. Each student is required to undertake Summer Internship Program (SIP) in an organization at the end of first year. The duration of the SIP varies between eight to ten weeks. In the second year of the Programme, each student is required to opt for 12 elective courses across the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Term based on his / her aptitude or interest. There are 22 Core Subjects, 14 electives (including flexi-core) and 1 summer internship project. In the second year, the student has to choose 12 electives out of the elective courses offered by the Institute, during three terms i.e. Terms IV, V & VI.
There are two ways a student can take electives. For major-minor specialization, a student has to take six (6) courses from finance area (major), four (4) courses from the second area (minor) of specialization and remaining two (2) courses compulsorily from other areas. For single specialization, a student has to choose six (6) courses from the finance area and six (6) courses from other areas with not more than three (3) courses in any area.
The second area of specialization could be chosen from any of the following six areas - Marketing, Business Analytics & Information Technology, Operations Management, Human Resource and Organizational Behavior or Economics.

FORE PGDM programme is spread over two years. A student is required to complete 60 credits of courses in the first year of the programme. From Term 4 onwards in the Second Year, students are required to undertake Elective courses. - Candidates should not be more than 20 years of age as on 1st August
- Candidates should have English as a compulsory subject in HSC/(10+2) Examination.
