Launched in 1995, the Two-Year Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is the flagship programme of the Institute. The programme prepares the students to take up challenging roles in this ever-changing corporate world and society at large with deep ingrained value system. The programme has been developed in a way to ensure the overall development of a human being so that he/she may contribute fully to the society and the nation in terms of economic and social growth. The PGDM (General) programme is accorded as MBA equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the programme is accredited by the National Board Accreditation (NBA).
LBSIM Delhi PGDM Admission Step by Step Process is given below:
Step-1: Application submission for Eligible Entrance Exams. LBSIM will accept CAT, XAT and GMAT (last four years) score for admission to all its PGDM programmes. You first need to apply and appear in at least one of the above entrance exams and score well to clear the prescribed LBSIM Delhi cut offs
Step-2: Apply Online or Offline separately for LBSIM Admission with requisite application fees of Rs.2000/-
Step-3: Check LBSIM Delhi Shortlist. Candidates are short-listed based on valid CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, prior academic performance, work experience, and other information disclosed in the Application form

The Two-Year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (General) programme consists of six trimesters. The course structure has been designed to ensure that the management graduates of LBSIM develop a judicious blend of strategic thinking, tactical implementation, specialized knowledge and general management skills. In the first year, the focus is primarily on basic courses, to build a foundation of conceptual and analytical skills, required for pursuing specialized study in various functional areas. The students have to take 21 core courses and undertake Summer Training at the end of the year. The students may also have the opportunity to take a foreign language as an optional course.
PGDM Student connect programme is offered before the commencement of regular classes to help incoming candidates cope with the rigours of PGDM Programme by offering courses that bridge the knowledge gap between the undergraduate degree (in different domains) & PGDM Curriculum.
In the second year, the students need to opt for 12 electives in addition to the six compulsory courses. This enables them to pursue in–depth and rigorous learning in the areas of their specialization. The electives cover a minimum of two functional areas, which equip the LBSIM graduates to sharpen their multiple functional skills. Participants are also required to complete online certifications which carry credits.
Each student is required to undertake summer internship in a company of repute for the duration of 8-10 weeks as part of the course curriculum after the third trimester examination. Final Research Project is a compulsory course carrying maximum marks 200 (equivalent to 6 credits). It commences from the middle of Trimester IV and is required to be completed in 5 months' time, ending in January.
