Admission Process

The step by step process for admission to MBA programme at SCMHRD Pune is as follows:

Step 1: The candidate must apply and appear and score the minimum required percentile in SNAP Test

Step 2: Along with submitting application for SNAP exam, candidates should register and apply for admission to SCMHRD Pune by paying additional registration fee of Rs.1000/- per programme through SNAP application form  

Step 3: Preserve the Admit Card of SNAP Test for further selection process at SCMHRD, Pune. Appearing for SNAP Test does not automatically qualify an applicant for the next step in SCMHRD Pune selection process

Step 4: SCMHRD Pune Shortlist Criteria is based on SNAP exam score. For MBA admission, every year SCMHRD Pune shortlist criteria is announced. Shortlisted candidates are called for GE-WAT-PI Round from among the candidates who have a valid SNAP score, who have applied for admission to SCMHRD Pune and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme  

Step 5: The final admission round in SCMHRD Pune MBA selection process will be held separately at SCMHRD Pune campus

Step 6: After the GE-PI-WAT round, final admission offers will be made to successful candidates. Admission offer will be based on the weightage awarded to SNAP score, GE, WAT, PI and institute specific marks. Offer letters will be sent to the mailing address provided in the application form as also by email.

SCMHRD Pune MBA curriculum is divided into four semesters spread over two years.

BIM Trichy MBA Admission Process has following stages as below:

Shortlist: BIM will shortlist the candidates based on their performance in CAT, XAT and GMAT exam score. BIM Trichy will consider aggregate exam scores and not sectional scores. Step-1: K J Somaiya Institute of Management Shortlisting Criteria: K J Somaiya will shortlist candidates based on entrance exam scores accepted for admission namely CAT 2024, XAT 2025, GMAT, NMAT 2024, and CMAT 2025. Curriculum

The two-year, full-time MBA programme at K J Somaiya Institute of Management allows students the unique opportunity to pursue both a major and a minor. From the second year onwards, Students are required to opt for one of the majors and one of the minor specializations. Curriculum

MBA HR programme is aimed at developing professionals who will be able to manage all functions and levels of businesses using their HR managerial knowledge and skills. The First Year of the program offers a 2-week compulsory preparatory program for students to enhance their readiness for the MBA HR program; an Orientation program to familiarize students to the IIM way of learning and acquaints them with the infrastructure, services, and student activities at IIM Amritsar. The first year courses are compulsory and provide basic conceptual knowledge and analytical tools in different functional areas of management. All students undergo eight to ten weeks of summer internship after first year of the program. Summer internship helps students to apply their first year learning by doing organizationally sponsored projects. Student performance in their summer internships often result in final placement offers.

Second-year MBA HR comprises core courses in HR spread out over the fourth, fifth, and sixth terms of the program. Students can also choose elective courses from among areas of specialization like Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Information Systems & Analytics, Production & Quantitative Methods, Business Strategy, Economics, and Communication. LBSIM Delhi PGDM E-Business Admission Step by Step Process is given below:

Step-1: Application submission for Eligible Entrance Exams. LBSIM will accept CAT, XAT and GMAT (last four years) score for admission to all its PGDM programmes. You first need to apply and appear in at least one of the above entrance exams and score well to clear the prescribed LBSIM Delhi cut offs  

Step-2: Apply Online or Offline separately for LBSIM Admission with requisite application fees of Rs.2000/-  

Step-3: Check LBSIM Delhi Shortlist. Candidates are short-listed based on valid CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, prior academic performance, work experience, and other information disclosed in the Application form

Step-4: Participate in Final Selection GD-PI-WAT. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Extempore/Written Analysis Test and Personal Interview which is held in different cities.

Curriculum

The Two-Year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (E-Business) programme consists of six trimesters. The course framework of the programme has been designed to ensure that PGDM (E-Business) management graduates at LBSIM gain a balanced mix of strategic thinking, tactical implementation, specialised knowledge, and general management abilities. The focus in the first year is largely on fundamental courses, that provide a foundation of conceptual and analytical abilities necessary for pursuing a specialised course in E-Business. These fundamental courses enable students to have a holistic understanding of business environment and help students improve creative thinking, effective communication skills, and teamwork. During the first year, students study a total of 21 (twenty-one) courses in the areas of Economics, Human Resources, Quantitative Techniques, Accounting and Finance and Information Technology.

PGDM Student connect programme is offered before the commencement of regular classes to help incoming candidates cope with the rigours of PGDM Programme by offering courses that bridge the knowledge gap between the undergraduate degree (in different domains) & PGDM Curriculum.

In the second year, students are required to opt for 6 (six) elective subjects in addition to 11 (eleven) core subjects. This enables them to pursue an in- depth learning in the specialised area of E-Business. Participants are also required to complete online certifications which carry credits.

Each student is required to undertake summer internship in a company of repute for the duration of 8-10 weeks as part of the course curriculum after the third trimester examination. Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi, a premier Business school in the country has launched Two-Year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Artificial intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS). This programme is first of its kind in the country and caters to a niche area that is currently an integral part of world business and innovative management education.

Admission Process

LBSIM Delhi PGDM AI & DS Admission Step by Step Process is given below:

Step-1: Application submission for Eligible Entrance Exams. LBSIM will accept CAT, XAT and GMAT (last four years) score for admission to all its PGDM programmes. You first need to apply and appear in at least one of the above entrance exams and score well to clear the prescribed LBSIM Delhi cut offs  

Step-2: Apply Online or Offline separately for LBSIM Admission with requisite application fees of Rs.2000/-  

Step-3: Check LBSIM Delhi Shortlist. Candidates are short-listed based on valid CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, prior academic performance, work experience, and other information disclosed in the Application form

Step-4: Participate in Final Selection GD-PI-WAT. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Extempore/Written Analysis Test and Personal Interview which is held in different cities.

Step-5: Merit List Generation. Result of the selected candidates shall be displayed on the Institute’s Notice Board and uploaded on the Institute’s website 

Step-6: Final Admission Offer Acceptance. Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection by LBSIM Delhi. The result will also be uploaded on LBSIM’s website. Selected candidate should accept the admission offer and pay the requisite admission fees by the last date.

Curriculum

The Two-Year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) programme comprises of six trimesters. During the first year, the emphasis is primarily on core (compulsory) courses, to build a foundation of conceptual, technical and managerial skills, required for pursuing specialized study in various domains of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. These core courses help students to build solid technical foundations along with core management concepts. The courses cover Management areas like Marketing, OB/HR, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Operations, General Management as well as covering Artificial Intelligence and Data Science domains. A lot of emphasis is on hands on training on softwares for implementing the concepts taught.

PGDM Student connect programme is offered before the commencement of regular classes to help incoming candidates cope with the rigours of PGDM Programme by offering courses that bridge the knowledge gap between the undergraduate degree (in different domains) & PGDM Curriculum.

In the second year, students opt for two elective areas in addition to 11 compulsory courses. This enables them to pursue in-depth learning in the areas of their specialization. The elective areas offered are AI for Marketing, AI for Financial Applications and Advance AI. During this year, students also undertake a Capstone Project study under the guidance of a faculty member. The capstone project spans three trimesters for developing a portfolio that helps students to undertake real life project for data insights using AI & DS techniques for managerial implementation. Participants are also required to complete online certifications which carry credits.

Each student is required to undertake summer internship in a company of repute for the duration of 8-10 weeks as part of the course curriculum after the third trimester examination. In its PGDM AI & DS Programme, LBSIM offers choice of specializations from the areas of AI for Marketing, AI for Financial Applications, Advanced AI

The Information Brochure containing the Application Form is available with the Admission Coordinator, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi on all working days between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm at LBSIM Dwarka Campus, on payment of Application Fees of Rs.2,000/- in cash or by Demand Draft. 
The demand draft should be drawn in favour of 'Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management' Delhi, payable at New Delhi. 
Completed application forms with requisite fee should reach LBSIM Delhi on or before the last date.

Online Application Process 
Candidates can apply Online also. For online application submission, candidates need to pay Rs. 2,000/- either through Credit/Debit card/ Net Banking Or UPI.

Eligibility Description

LBSIM PGDM AI & DS Admission Eligibility Criteria have following key requirements:

  • Graduates in any discipline with minimum 3 years bachelor’s degree with 50% marks
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply.
  • Candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a phone number throughout the selection process.
    Candidates are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs or XAT conducted by XLRI, or should have a valid GMAT score (taken during last four years).
  • Foreign students, PIO and NRI sponsored candidates are also eligible and are required to take the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) at a test centre outside India.
  • Indian residents who have appeared for GMAT will be required to furnish their GMAT scores while applying and should provide an attested copy of the GMAT score sheet to the Admission Office for verification at the time of personal interview.

The basic courses include subjects covering the multiple domains of management such as Statistics, Spreadsheet Modeling, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Business Communication, etc. Students are required to secure minimum CGPA of 5.00 for promotion to the second year. In addition to this, student should not have more than three FGrades.
