IIM Indore PGPX is two-year, alternate weekend Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPMX). Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree awarded to participants on successful completion of the programme.
Classes are conducted at IIM Indore’s Powai, Mumbai Campus. The Curriculum and rigour are similar to regular 2-year PGP. Distinguished Faculty from IIM Indore and industry will be teaching the programme. The programme entails International Immersion Programme. The programme offers Opportunity to network with peers from diverse industries

Admission to IIM Indore PGPMX programme will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Aptitude Test and Interview to be conducted by IIM Indore on specified dates. The Aptitude Test will be held in the first half of the day on the specified date. It will be followed by Interviews. While interviews of some candidates will be held on the same day of the Aptitude Test, others will be invited for interviews on other dates announced for the interviews. Candidates are advised to keep themselves free on all the dates announced for the Aptitude Test and interview.
Admission Offers will be made to candidates based on the overall performance in the Aptitude Test and interview, within a week of the conclusion of interviews. The Admission Offer letters will be sent through email. The candidates are, therefore, advised to check their emails regularly after the interviews are completed.
Candidates who are offered admission to PGPMX will be required to accept the Admission Offer in the prescribed format, within the date specified in the Admission Offer Letter. The format will be sent with the Offer of Admission.
The candidates will be required to submit a duly filled in and signed Registration Form on the date of registration. More details about registration will be sent along with the Admission Offer Letter.
The PGPMX comprises of a rigorous curriculum, exposes participants to experiential learning, and provides avenues for creative collaborations with their peers, faculty, and their organizations. The PGPMX is similar in content and rigor to our regular Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the classes are facilitated and taught by the same faculty. The objective of the programme is to provide participants with a platform to enhance their knowledge base, and hone their skills and competencies to grow higher in their career and to be a leader in their organizations.
The PGPMX innovative approach, need-based curriculum, powerful experiential learning, and experienced faculty deliver an integrated learning experience that is powerful enough to make a positive impact on the managerial career of the participants by maintaining high academic standards that is not just career-altering, but life-changing.
Academic input is delivered through two types of courses: core courses and elective courses. Core courses (Term 1 to 3) are compulsory for all participants. They provide participants with the fundamental conceptual knowledge, analytical skills and techniques, contextual understanding, environmental awareness and overall perspective, which serve as the base for the programme. The elective courses, which are offered in the second year (Term 4 to 6), give participants a deeper understanding of different functional areas and enable them to specialize in areas of their choice.
The application should be submitted online at the IIM Indore PGPMX admission website. Step by step process how to apply for admission is given below:
Step 1: Submission of Application:
All interested candidates should fill out the online application form. After submission of the form, an acknowledgement with a system-generated Application Number will be sent to the email address provided. Login credentials with edit rights will also be provided to candidates in the same email. Candidates may edit their application form until the last date for submission of application form. Candidates are advised to save a copy of their application form after submission.
Incomplete application forms will not be considered. Candidates must complete all parts of the Application Form or explain in the form why a part has not been completed. This is important to be considered for admission to the program.
Step 2: Make Payment of Application Fee:
Candidates should pay the application fee of INR 5000/- online within one working day of submitting the online application form. Applications without payment of application fee will not be considered. The application fee is non-refundable.
The IIM Indore two-year, alternate weekend Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives PGPMX, offered in Mumbai, is uniquely designed for working executives and entrepreneurs, who would like to take the opportunity to become transformational leaders and innovative solution creators in their respective organizations, but find it difficult to pursue a full-time programme in management. PGPMX is designed to provide flexibility to working executives to be engaged in their respective professions and at the same time to upgrade their knowledge . Successful completion of the Programme would lead to the award of Master of Business Administration degree. PGPMX Eligibility criteria have following key requirements for admission:
- The candidate must have A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- The percentage of marks obtained at the bachelor’s degree or the preceding degree should be minimum 50 or equivalent CGPA.
- Completed at least 5 years of full time managerial/professional experience after bachelor’s degree as on the last date for submission of applications.
- The programme is open to all nationalities.

Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)
Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. The programme has been accredited by the AMBA London (4th and 5th Year). It is a unique and creative programme meant for young students with managerial and leadership aspirations. Through the IPM, IIM Indore seeks to attract young students, and mould them as outstanding leaders through a world-class education.
IIM Indore IPM is a Dual Degree Programme – BBA+MBA which you can pursue after passing class 12 and without appearing in CAT exam after completing 3 years of BBA degree. The Exit option from IPM program is available after completion of 3 years with Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) degree awarded by IIM Indore.
IIM Indore IPM admission process has 5 steps. The students will undergo a rigorous IIM Indore IPM selection process to get admission into IIM Indore IPM

The first three years of 5 years IPM programme focus on various management courses in undergraduate programme including Business Economics, Statistics, Ethics, Management theory and practice, Political science, Psychology, Public Policy, Governance among others. Industry visits, case study, interactive sessions, corporate internships are the key pedagogical tools of teaching. The last two years courses are same as that of IIM Indore flagship 2 years PGP programme. IIM Indore offers nine specialization areas to choose from, namely Economics, Finance & Accounting, Information systems, Marketing, Organization behavior & Human Resources, Operation management & Quantitative Techniques, Strategy, Communications, Humanities & Social Sciences
IIM Indore students participate in a wide range of extra and co-curricular activities which include IRIS (The Annual Management & Cultural Festival) and Utsaha (Rural Marketing Fair). IIM Indore has exchange tie-ups with several prestigious international business schools. IIM Indore conducts Himalaya outbound programme for the final year students to enable them to perform in an unfamiliar ambience and work as a team. Rural immersion programme is conducted to enable the participants to understand the social context in which organizations work and exist.
Students visit a company once a week in the fourth year of the Programme. They are required to carry out a study on various industries and key players in the industry. A unique matrix based structure in final year wherein participants take 10% credits in ‘Industry Vertical Courses’ and 10% credits in ‘Functional Area Courses’ in addition to the general management credits.
IPM Application form is released on official website of IIM Indore. IPM Application form fee is Rs. 4,130/- inclusive of GST for General, EWS and NC-OBC category candidates. For SC, ST and PwD category candidates the IPM application form fee is Rs.2,065/- inclusive of GST. Application form fee has to be paid online and is non-refundable/non-transferable. Recommended browsers to fill the IPM application form are: Internet Explorer (version 10 and above), OR Mozilla Firefox (version 52 and above), OR Google Chrome (version 58 and above). Fields marked in IPM application form with * are mandatory. Candidate have to fill in the personal details first to receive the User Id and Password. User Id would be received in the registered email address and Password as SMS on the registered mobile number. For subsequent login to fill the IPM application form, candidate should use the User Id and Password to complete the application. IPM eligibility criteria require class 12th pass candidates or the class 12 appearing candidates. The candidates qualifying the following minimum eligibility for admission to 5 year IPM batch

IIM Lucknow Post Graduate Programme (PGP) leading to award of MBA degree, is a two years full time residential programme. IIM Lucknow PGP curriculum is divided in six terms spread over two years. The First Year academic work, spread over three terms, is a compulsory package of 22 foundation (core) courses designed to provide basic knowledge of concepts, tools and techniques in various functional areas and relevant disciplines.
The two-month compulsory Summer Training in industrial and business organisations follows the first year course work. The summer training is aimed at providing exposure to the real life working environment. Students are required to work on specific, time-bound organisation related assignments.

The curriculum of PGP ABM at IIM Lucknow is divided into six terms spread over two years. The First Year academic work, spread over three terms, is a compulsory package of 22 foundation (core) courses designed to provide basic knowledge of concepts, tools and techniques in various functional areas and relevant disciplines.

Upon joining the programme, students go through coursework in 6 terms spread across 2 academic years and complete at least 90 credits. The academic group that a student joins is treated as the Major area of specialization.
In the first year, students take up at least 15 compulsory credit courses (includes 2 compulsory courses on research methods [qualitative and quantitative], for groups requiring students to do these courses in the first year) and 1 compulsory non-credit course in Qualifying Mathematics. In the second year, students have to take 8 courses in major area (out of which at least six should be doctoral-level advanced courses; if a student has already taken any doctoral-level course in the first year, he/she needs to take the remaining number of doctoral-level advanced courses in the second year out of total six). Minimum of 3 doctoral courses of 3 credits each offered by any academic groups (or mix thereof) other than his/her group of specialization should be taken. Besides, 2 compulsory doctoral level courses on research methods (qualitative and quantitative), for academic groups deciding students to do these courses in the second year should be taken. Students are required to take at most two term papers (in lieu of courses) of which at least one term paper must be in the major area.
In the summer vacation at the end of first year, students undertake a project/research work which is treated as equivalent to 2 credit courses.
The qualifying CGPA for first year is 5.5 while that for the whole period of coursework is 6.0. Students failing to meet the cut-off CGPA are required to withdraw from the programme. After successful completion of coursework, students take a CQE (Comprehensive Qualifying Examination) administered by the respective academic group. Upon successful completion of CQE, a student moves into the thesis or dissertation phase.
Students are required to attend a teaching practicum. Students are required to take up Teaching Assistantship over the tenure of Fellowship for at least one diploma course offered by the academic group.

IIMB PhD students actively engage with its world class faculty work at the cutting edge of research, teaching, and implementation of management research. The PhD programme at IIMB has two main phases: an initial phase of coursework aimed at providing breadth and depth in management disciplines, and a subsequent phased focused on development of the doctoral dissertation under the guidance of a dissertation advisory committee. Periodic milestones are inbuilt in the programme to ensure timely progress towards the degree.
The programme duration is 5 years and has two phases: coursework and thesis research. IIM Bangalore BBA eligibility criteria for Admission are as follows:
- Indian National: The student should be Indian National
- Must have Passed Class 10: The student must have passed class 10 and should have certificate to this effect
- Performance in Class 12: The student must have scored a minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent CGPA in recognized board exams for general category & NC-OBC & EWS category candidates. For SC,ST & PwD candidates minimum 55% marks are required.
- Entrance Test: It is mandatory for the applicants to appear in computer based IIMB DBE Entrance Test (Undergraduate Entrance Test) at the designated centre.
The candidates will be selected for the programme only on the basis of their performance in the IIMB DBE Entrance test.
