Semester I Overview
The Semester I curriculum focuses on building a strong foundation through Core Courses like Marketing Management, Organizational Behavior, Operations Management, Management Accounting, Business Statistics, Managerial Economics, and Business Research Methods.
Additionally, students choose Specialization Core Courses tailored to their fields:

Finance: Courses include Corporate Finance, Indian Financial Systems, Business Modeling using Excel, and ERP Systems (SAP).

Operations & SCM: Topics cover Material Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, and ERP Systems (SAP).

Data Science & Business Analytics: Core subjects include Python Essentials, Math for Data Science, Big Data Ecosystems, and Data Mining using SQL.

Digital Marketing & Business Analytics: Focuses on Python, Data Science fundamentals, Big Data Ecosystems, and Data Mining.

Telecom & Business Analytics: Similar analytical foundations with applications in the telecom sector.

Product Management & Business Analytics: Shares core analytics courses like Python and Data Mining with a focus on product management insights.

Semester II Overview
The Semester II curriculum builds on foundational knowledge with advanced skills and industry-specific expertise. Students explore Generic Core Courses such as Data Visualization using Tableau and BI, enhancing their ability to interpret and present complex data effectively.
Specialization Core Courses cater to diverse career paths:

Finance: Key topics include Financial Econometrics, Strategic Corporate Finance, Financial Technology, Corporate Valuation, and Marketing of Financial Services (BFSI).

Operations & SCM: Focus areas include Advanced Operations Research, Total Quality Management, Project Management, Warehouse Management, and Operations & Supply Chain Analytics.

Data Science & Business Analytics: Emphasis on R Programming, Python for Data Visualization, Cloud Computing & IoT, Web & Social Media Analytics, and Marketing Analytics.

Digital Marketing & Business Analytics: Includes R Programming, Consumer Behavior in a Digital World, Content Marketing, and Python for Data Preparation.

Telecom & Business Analytics: Covers Information Systems for Telecom, Network Concepts, alongside core analytics and cloud computing modules.

Product Management & Business Analytics: Encompasses Product Design, Prototyping, Product Strategy, and Analytics Project Management.

In second year, Semester III and IV has advanced courses in area of specialization.

The curriculum focuses not just on “knowing” or “doing”, but more on “being”. Learning outside the classroom through leadership events, clubs, competitions, rituals, celebrations, is given equal importance. The evaluation system is more a learning and developmental tool. TISS Mumbai Master of Hospital Administration program curriculum is spread over 2 years. TISS Master of Hospital Administration programme imparts training in managing financial, material and information systems in hospital settings and builds the perspectives, attitudes and skills needed for managing people. The MHA (Hospital) Degree is designed to be completed in 4 semesters spanning two years; but has a provision to complete over a maximum period of 5 years from the date of registration.

Students of the MHA (Hospital) programme find jobs to manage a variety of specialised services in hospitals, both in the private and in government sectors. TISS MA HRM and LR program curriculum is spread over 2 years. Master of Arts Human Resource Management & Labour Relations (HRM & LR) programme at TISS Mumbai places importance on both theoretical and hands-on learning. While classroom learning through participation in the forms of discussions and case studies, presentations, simulation games, assignments, etc., emphasises conceptual clarity, practical inputs are provided through the rigorous fieldwork system, which complements the classroom inputs by throwing light on the practical dimension of the profession.

At the end of their second semester, students go on a two-month integrated industry exposure in the form of summer internships in reputed organizations. All students also have the opportunity to enroll for 6 months of structured Practice School, as a part of the curriculum. Christ University School of Business and Management (SBM) offers MBA Finance and International Business Programme. The MBA Program offers insight into all facets of businesses like Marketing, Finance, HR, and Supply chain from a global perspective which is necessary in functioning and handling any global organization.

A unique feature of this Christ University MBA program is that it is a Dual specialization program in Finance and International Business coupled with a mandatory international immersion program and live projects. The program features a strong focus on experiential learning. KSOM MBA curriculum is designed to achieve the three objectives - Building a strong foundation in all the key functional areas of business; Fostering strong analytical and decision making skills; Providing academic flexibility to promote the customization and personalization of knowledge. 

The MBA curriculum consists of three different components – Core courses, Elective courses and corporate experience through study tours and On-Job-Training (OJT). Each component reinforces learning from the other, thereby fortifying the education process. The core and elective courses are delivered over 4 semester of 20 weeks duration for each semester and a summer project of 8 weeks duration after the 2nd semesters (OJT). There are 17 core courses in the first year and one core course plus elective courses equivalent to 32 credits in the second year covering seven functional areas. It is compulsory for a student to select at least ONE area of concentration from the functional areas “Marketing”, “HR”, “Finance and Accounting”, “Information Technology”, “Technology and Operations”. If a student wants, he/she can choose TWO areas of concentration too.

The core courses in the first year establish a strong foundation in major functions of business viz. business environment, marketing, finance, human resources, communication, IT, operations and strategy. This input helps students to acquire basic analytical, quantitative and communication skills and builds their confidence to undertake advance courses during the second year. The summer project at the end of first year, called On-Job-Training (OJT), consolidates the classroom learning with exposure to real life corporate environment. The elective courses during the second year offers opportunity for specialization in major functional areas of management, adding greater depth to the learning acquired during the first year.

The last two semesters comprise of specialization courses where the students can choose elective courses offered in the areas of Business Analytics, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Operations & Supply Chain Management.

A student has to complete a minimum of 32 credits of elective in total during the two semesters in the 2nd year. Students need to select appropriate mix of course according to their career preference. It is compulsory for student to select at least one area of concentration from the functional areas.
