Step-6: Make Payment: MICA Application fee is Rs.2100. You need to pay this fee online. If the fee amount is correct you should click on ‘I Agree’ before finalizing the payment and proceed further.
Step-7: Enter Entrance Exam Score after Result Declaration: After the CAT/XAT result declaration, MICA will give you the opportunity to update your exam score. You should login as Already Registered candidate to update your CAT/XAT score

MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships, leading to partial or full fee waiver are offered to the students. MICA Scholarships are Merit Based and Need Based which are offered to students in 1st and 2nd year of the MBA courses to support them to pursue the management program with reduced financial burden. MICA Scholarships are awarded annually based on the student's overall academic performance and family income. The scholarships are awarded to the students who are currently pursuing studies at MICA. The process of evaluating and awarding the scholarships is rigorous.
MICA offers Prof. Bikram Bindra "Equity Scholarship" and other merit and Merit cum Means scholarships. The students from PGP-1 will be eligible to apply. The Criterion for Scholarship selection is based on the Family Income not exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. Student’s academic performance should be minimum CGPA of 3.00 and class attendance record of minimum 80% in the first year for PGP-2 scholarship. Winning state/national/international level competitions will also add to eligibility.
The maximum number of scholarships to be awarded will be 25 to 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC), including the sponsored from Prof. Bikram Bindra for 1-2 student(s), where Prof. Bindra will provide Rs. 5 Lakhs to the student(s). The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-2 students will be up to 12. MICA will provide the scholarship up to 100% of the tuition fees per student in the programme. The number of scholarships to be awarded for PGP-1 will be up to 11 to 13. For CCC, the scholarsdhip will be awarded up to 2 students. MICA will provide up to 50% of the tuition fees per student in the programme.
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
K J Somaiya offers 2 years full time MBA programme. Step-1: K J Somaiya Institute of Management Shortlisting Criteria: K J Somaiya will shortlist candidates based on entrance exam scores accepted for admission namely CAT 2024, XAT 2025, GMAT, NMAT 2024, and CMAT 2025. Step-2: K J Somaiya Institute of Management - MBA Admission Final Selection: The final admission round at K J Somaiya will consist of WAT and GD-PI. The Written Ability Test (WAT) at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management is a key part of the admission process. In this test, students are given a specific topic to write about, allowing them to showcase their writing skills, critical thinking, clarity of thought, and ability to articulate ideas effectively. GD PI process will be conducted across different cities across India. It will consist of Group discussion and a personal in-depth interview.
After the final admission round KJSIM will award weightage to Entrance exam scores; Academics; Work Experience; Written ability test; Group Discussion and Personal Interviews; and Other Achievements like sports & other extracurricular activities. Candidates will be offered the programme based on their results, preference, and the availability of seats.
Profile-Based Admission: K J Somaiya also offers profile-based admission for its MBA Healthcare Management and MBA Sports Management programme. For the profile-based admission process, the aspirant needs to appear for any one of the qualifying entrance exams (i.e. either CAT / XAT/GMAT/ NMAT/CMAT). For MBA-Sports Management qualifying scores of CAT/ XAT/GMAT/ NMAT/CMAT /ATMA/MAT/PERA CET/CUET will be accepted.

The two-year, full-time MBA programme at K J Somaiya Institute of Management allows students the unique opportunity to pursue both a major and a minor. From the second year onwards, Students are required to opt for one of the majors and one of the minor specializations. The major specialization needs to be opted for before the 4th trimester, while the minor specialization needs to be opted for before the 5th trimester.
