Step-1: Register to Get User ID: Click on Apply Now at MICA website. On the page that opens, you should fill in your name, mobile number, valid email ID and after clicking on ‘I Agree’ box, and entering captcha, you need to click on submit button.

Eligibility criteria for MICA Post Graduate Programme in Crafting Creative Communication (CCC) are as below: 

  • This programme does not require applicants to clear CAT (Common Admission Test).
  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities is a definite prerequisite to apply.

MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships, leading to partial or full fee waiver are offered to the students. MICA Scholarships are Merit Based and Need Based which are offered to students in 1st and 2nd year of the MBA courses to support them to pursue the management program with reduced financial burden. MICA Scholarships are awarded annually based on the student's overall academic performance and family income.  The scholarships are awarded to the students who are currently pursuing studies at MICA. The process of evaluating and awarding the scholarships is rigorous.

MICA offers Prof. Bikram Bindra "Equity Scholarship" and other merit and Merit cum Means scholarships. The students from PGP-1 will be eligible to apply. The Criterion for Scholarship selection is based on the Family Income not exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. Student’s academic performance should be minimum CGPA of 3.00  and class attendance record of minimum 80% in the first year for PGP-2 scholarship. Winning state/national/international level competitions will also add to eligibility.

The maximum number of scholarships to be awarded will be 25 to 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC), including the sponsored from Prof. Bikram Bindra for 1-2 student(s), where Prof. Bindra will provide Rs. 5 Lakhs to the student(s). The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-2 students will be up to 12. MICA will provide the scholarship up to 100% of the tuition fees per student in the programme. The number of scholarships to be awarded for PGP-1 will be up to 11 to 13. For CCC, the scholarsdhip will be awarded up to 2 students. MICA will provide up to 50% of the tuition fees per student in the programme.

Scholarship
All FPM students at MICA (except sponsored students) admitted to the Programme will be given a fellowship and contingency allowance. The fellowship includes a fee waiver and a monthly stipend. The stipend for the first 2 years is Rs.38,000 per month and for 3rd and 4th year the amount of stipend is Rs.41,000. In addition to the above, a contingency grant of Rs. 25,000 in the first year, Rs. 30,000 in each of the second and third years, and Rs. 15,000 in the fourth year will be available to the students for academic expenses like case material, books, travel, data collection expenses, thesis expenses etc. Students will be permitted to carry over surpluses to the following years. However, FPM students will bear their lodging and boarding expenses.

Stage 1: Telephone interviews of eligible candidates.

Stage 2: The Shortlisted candidates should appear for MICA’s FPM Admission Test. 

The FPM Admission Test is a three-day process organised on the MICA campus, comprising of the Written Test (WT), an Individual Presentation (IP) and a Personal Interview (PI). Candidates appearing for the admission test will be provided lodging and boarding at the MICA campus. Details are as below:

Written Test: The Written Test will examine the candidate's theoretical understanding of communication, the ability to investigate a communication phenomenon and the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions. The WT will be descriptive in nature and is based on prescribed readings. Candidates shortlisted after the telephonic interviews will be sent the prescribed readings via email. They are required to read them critically. Candidates may bring copies of the readings to the WT as this is an open-book exam.

Individual Presentation (IP): The candidate will be presenting the topic based on the submitted research proposal. S/he will be given 15 minutes to present to a panel of experts. Candidates will be required to make PowerPoint (PPT) presentations.

Personal Interview (PI): The Personal Interview will follow the IP, where a panel of experts will assess the candidate's personality and passion for research.

Final Selection to the FPM programme is based on Telephonic screening interview and Performance in FPM Admission Test; Consistent academic performance from 10+2 onwards, and Professional work/research experience in media and communication

Curriculum

MICA FPM has embedded rigorous coursework and an international immersion module. Its unique world-class pedagogy and the foreign immersion module (offered with internationally reputed Universities) aim to prepare scholars of change by encouraging fundamental and applied research focusing on critical thinking, argument development, knowledge gap identification, problem formulation, and thesis writing. As a part of the FPM curriculum restructuring conducted in 2023, the programme now has a good mix of- foundational, some to be done with the PGP students, research-enabler, and domain-specific courses. This provides a solid bearing to FPM scholars, who can conduct quality research and develop scholarly acumen to perform well in their academic careers.

The FPM community regularly organises the MI-Idea Cafe series, where FPM scholars are encouraged to share their research ideas with the community for constructive interaction.   • Two letters of recommendation in the prescribed format are required to be uploaded at the link provided in the online application.
  • Ensure that you respond to all items in the application form (use N. A. for items which are not applicable to you).
    Upload your Statement of Purpose (SOP) typewritten in a word document to the link provided in the online application. Address each of the following points, using the essay form in a maximum of two pages - Why do you want to pursue the FPM? And What are your career and professional goals? How do your research interests match with the sub-areas of MICA’s FPM: Communication and Media, Management and Marketing

MICA FPM Eligibility Criteria have following key points:

  • Applicants must have a UGC/AIU/AICTE approved Post Graduate/Master’s Degree/equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the field of management/communications/humanities/ or social science.
  • Exposure and understanding of Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Advertising and/or Journalism shall be an added advantage.
    The candidate should have also completed a UGC/AIU/AICTE approved three-year Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent. The Bachelor’s degree can be from any discipline (Engineering/ Science/ Social Studies/ Arts/ Commerce/ Communication/ Management/ or Media).
  • Foreign nationals and NRIs with non-Indian degrees that are considered equivalent (by UGC/AIU/AICTE) to the qualifications listed with GRE above are also eligible to apply for the programme.
  • Final year students appearing for the master’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply.

Live Projects are real-world challenges that students tackle in groups to supplement their BITSoM classroom learning. MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships, leading to partial or full fee waiver are offered to the students. MICA Scholarships are Merit Based and Need Based which are offered to students in 1st and 2nd year of the MBA courses to support them to pursue the management program with reduced financial burden. MICA Scholarships are awarded annually based on the student's overall academic performance and family income.  The scholarships are awarded to the students who are currently pursuing studies at MICA. The process of evaluating and awarding the scholarships is rigorous.

MICA offers Prof. Bikram Bindra "Equity Scholarship" and other merit and Merit cum Means scholarships. The students from PGP-1 will be eligible to apply. The Criterion for Scholarship selection is based on the Family Income not exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. Student’s academic performance should be minimum CGPA of 3.00  and class attendance record of minimum 80% in the first year for PGP-2 scholarship. Winning state/national/international level competitions will also add to eligibility.

The maximum number of scholarships to be awarded will be 25 to 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC), including the sponsored from Prof. Bikram Bindra for 1-2 student(s), where Prof. Bindra will provide Rs. 5 Lakhs to the student(s). The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-2 students will be up to 12. MICA will provide the scholarship up to 100% of the tuition fees per student in the programme. The number of scholarships to be awarded for PGP-1 will be up to 11 to 13. For CCC, the scholarsdhip will be awarded up to 2 students. MICA will provide up to 50% of the tuition fees per student in the programme.

Step-1: K J Somaiya Institute of Management Shortlisting Criteria: K J Somaiya will shortlist candidates based on entrance exam scores accepted for admission namely CAT 2024, XAT 2025, GMAT, NMAT 2024, and CMAT 2025. For NMAT, the scores of only the student's first attempt will be considered. For GMAT, scores from 1st January 2022 to 20th January 2025 will be considered valid. Step-2: K J Somaiya Institute of Management - MBA Admission Final Selection: The final admission round at K J Somaiya will consist of WAT and GD-PI. The Written Ability Test (WAT) at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management is a key part of the admission process. In this test, students are given a specific topic to write about, allowing them to showcase their writing skills, critical thinking, clarity of thought, and ability to articulate ideas effectively. GD PI process will be conducted across different cities across India. It will consist of Group discussion and a personal in-depth interview.

After the final admission round KJSIM will award weightage to Entrance exam scores; Academics; Work Experience; Written ability test; Group Discussion and Personal Interviews; and Other Achievements like sports & other extracurricular activities. Candidates will be offered the programme based on their results, preference, and the availability of seats.

Profile-Based Admission: K J Somaiya also offers profile-based admission for its MBA Healthcare Management and MBA Sports Management programme. For the profile-based admission process, the aspirant needs to appear for any one of the qualifying entrance exams (i.e. either CAT / XAT/GMAT/ NMAT/CMAT). Curriculum

The two-year, full-time MBA programme at K J Somaiya Institute of Management allows students the unique opportunity to pursue both a major and a minor. From the second year onwards, Students are required to opt for one of the majors and one of the minor specializations. The major specialization needs to be opted for before the 4th trimester, while the minor specialization needs to be opted for before the 5th trimester.

Step-1: K J Somaiya Mumbai Shortlisting Criteria: K J Somaiya will shortlist candidates on the basis of entrance exam scores accepted for admission namely CAT 2024, XAT 2025, GMAT, NMAT 2024 and CMAT 2025. Shortlisting of candidates for the selection process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT 2025/ XAT 2026/ Valid GMAT. Curriculum

MDI Murshidabad PGDM curriculum has been designed to enrich student’s skills and abilities in order to enable them in applying management theories and concepts in live problems existing in business and industry. The programme enables students to identify and diagnose complex problems in management through hands on learning experiences. It includes lectures, case studies, seminars, assignments, live projects, group discussions, business games, outbound based experiential learning activities, educational excursions, role plays, simulation exercises, structured and unstructured group work, and field visits. Consistent with state-of-art technology, the programme integrates the use of computers (IT) in the learning process. The students undertake several field based projects (live projects) so that they can get better insights into real life situation. These all will inevitably assist students to achieve high standards of excellence.

MDI Murshidabad PGDM Programme Structure

Core Courses
The PGDM course curriculum is spread across six terms with the bulk covered in the first three terms. These core courses will enhance the ability to communicate, analyse situations and make decisions by adopting quantitative and qualitative techniques. It even helps them to develop a holistic view of the different functional areas and the business environment. During this period, it is mandatory to opt for courses in general management and major functional areas, such as Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, Information Management and Business Analytics, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management and Strategic Management and International Business. They get exposure to the basic disciplines of Economics, Behavioural Sciences, Managerial Communication, Business Law, Quantitative Methods and Decision Sciences.

Summer Internship
At the end of the first three terms, students are required to undertake an industry internship or summer training to work on a project / life problem an organization. The internship usually spans over a period of eight weeks. This is a compulsory component of the curriculum for the completion of the academic requirements. It is designed to provide exposure to organizational work setting, develop an understanding of business realities, learn how to apply theory in real life business situations and find its relevance.

Dissertation
The dissertation will be allocated 1.5 credits in Term-IV under the Internship/Fieldwork category. Students will be required to submit their completed dissertation reports by the conclusion of Term-V.
This research-intensive project allows students to engage deeply with their chosen topic, bridging academic learning with practical, real-world application. It fosters essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic writing, and preparing students for future professional endeavours.

Specializations
In the second year, the student opts for elective/ optional courses to specialize in a maximum of two functional areas.

These areas of specialization may deal with any of the following:

  • Accounting and Finance
  • Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management
  • Marketing
  • Operations Management
  • Information Management and Business Analytics
  • Strategic Management and International Business

All elective Courses, however, may not be offered, as this would be determined by the number of students showing interest in aforementioned area of specializations. Details about the electives are made available to students when they join MDIM. To specialize in an area, a student must opt for a minimum of five elective courses offered in that area that assigns a weightage of 15 credits and three each for a course. Students will be allowed to opt in a range of 14 to 17 electives. However, CGPA would be decided based on the best 14 electives out of total electives where students have scored relatively better.

Curriculum

MBA HR programme is aimed at developing professionals who will be able to manage all functions and levels of businesses using their HR managerial knowledge and skills. The First Year of the program offers a 2-week compulsory preparatory program for students to enhance their readiness for the MBA HR program; an Orientation program to familiarize students to the IIM way of learning and acquaints them with the infrastructure, services, and student activities at IIM Amritsar. The first year courses are compulsory and provide basic conceptual knowledge and analytical tools in different functional areas of management. All students undergo eight to ten weeks of summer internship after first year of the program. Summer internship helps students to apply their first year learning by doing organizationally sponsored projects. Student performance in their summer internships often result in final placement offers.

Second-year MBA HR comprises core courses in HR spread out over the fourth, fifth, and sixth terms of the program. Curriculum

The fellow programme at IIM Raipur has been categorized into the following three phases: Phase I (Fundamentals of Management), Phase II (Specialization) and Phase III (Doctoral Dissertation). Research scholars will spend generally a little over four years that includes two years of rigorous course work. 

The Course work in the first year provides a general management overview and develops basic skills for analysing managerial problems. In the second year, research scholars will take advanced doctoral level courses in the area of specialization; followed by the doctoral dissertation, for the next couple of years.   • Applicants will be shortlisted for Personal Interview round based on Academic performance at senior secondary level, Academic performance at Bachelors’ level or equivalent, Work experience and profile (Composite score on work experience varies on the basis of experience of the candidate), Academic and Gender Diversity factor
    Personal Interview will be conducted for all the candidates clearing the shortlisting process. The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear before a panel for personal interview. Candidates will be evaluated on 5 parameters namely, Richness of Industry Experience, Communication Skills, Leadership Aptitude, Team Spirit and Ethical Orientation.
    The final selection of candidates for enrolment into the programme is based on a composite score, computed based on two parameters, viz.,
  • Personal Interview (50%) and Candidate Profile (50%). The detail of weightages assigned to each parameter is as listed below.
    Selected candidates will be offered admission
     
  • An Offer Acceptance fees of Rs.1,00,000 should be paid while accepting the admission offer. 
Curriculum

The Executive MBA course offers a blend of various general management theories, soft skills and analytical methods with real world business scenario cases. During this Programme, interaction with peers and faculty will augment many skills, appreciation of differing perspectives, effective communication, conflict management, negotiation, and mobilizing individuals towards common goals-all essential ingredients of effective management practices. The ePGP at IIM Raipur  has 1125 hours of content delivery (including 1005 hours of teaching) such that it is spread across six terms (3.5-4 months each) and a mini-term which includes a Mini Dissertation Project and Integrated Business Simulation. The overall goal of the programme is to broaden core leadership competencies to further enhance the professional growth of participants.

IIM Raipur ePGP Program will be of 34 credits spread across 6 terms and a mini term, where 1 credit is equal to 30 hours of classroom contact (equivalent). The whole course is designed to be completed in around 2 years. The Programme will comprise of 450 hours of core courses (15 credits); 150 hours of advanced core courses (5 credits); 300 hours of elective course (10 credits) – Covered in term V & VI; 60 hours of Integrated business simulation project focused on application of managerial concepts in real life setting - 2 credits; 60 hours of Mini dissertation to be carried out under supervision of a faculty member– 2 credits. Total Hours are 1020.

    Attach required documents - Passport size photograph, Photo Id Proof (PAN card, Aadhar Card, Driving license etc.), Address Proof (Aadhar Card, Driving license, Rent Agreement etc.), Educational Qualification (10th and 12th Marksheet and Degree Certificate/Transcript), Experience Certificates (Appointment Letter, Salary Slips or Relieving Letter etc.) OR for Business Owners (Minimum 2 yrs of ITR and GST Certificate). Other supporting documents like recent Caste Certificate, GPA equivalency certificate etc. as applicable
