The Doctoral Programme (PhD) of the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is a full-time doctoral programme to be completed in five years. The eligibility criteria to apply for IIMK Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD) are as follows:
- Post-graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline (including M.A., M.Com., M.E., M.Phil., M.Sc., M.Tech., MBA, MCA, etc.) with at least 55% aggregate (or equivalent)
- Professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/CS along with a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate (or equivalent) in the Bachelor’s degree.

Admission/Selection Process for Candidates for PGP at IIMA is through CAT. The selection of the candidates for admission to the PGP at IIMA is a two-step process.
In the first step, candidates are short-listed for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. Detailed Admission process is as below:

The second year courses provide the students with an opportunity to pursue studies in areas of special interest to them along with a few compulsory courses. IIM Calcutta CEMS MIM program is a one-year program which can be taken up simultaneously with the 2 year flagship PGP program of IIMC. Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)
IIM Bodh Gaya started five years integrated programme in management (IPM) from academic session 2021. The programme is meant for students who have passed class 12 and wish to pursue MBA from the best B-schools. The first three year of IPM programme would focus on undergraduate management degree programme BBA and on successful completion the BBA, the students will automatically be promoted to IIM Bodh Gaya MBA programme without bothering for CAT or any other MBA entrance exam. The curriculum of IPM programme would offer experiential learning, international immersion and a holistic course curriculum. The objective of the programme is to prepare young students from a foundation level for taking up leadership positions in corporates/government organizations. The IPM program is intended to make students to have a global perspective towards management practice. The 5 Year IPM Program at IIM Bodh Gaya is divided into BBA + MBA degree programmes. The first three years of the IIM Bodh Gaya IPM program would be based on a semester system, and the last two years would be based on the trimester system as per the prevailing MBA course structure. At the end of 2nd year, students will have to undergo a compulsory Rural and Social Immersion internship. The XIM University MBA-SM curriculum carries 106 credits: 66 core credits, 33 elective credits, 3 credits for the Sustainability Discovery Program and 4 credits for an Independent Research Project or Capstone Project. The first year combines sustainability domain courses with general management, and the second year is for specialisation.

- Register for XAT 2027, CAT 2026, GMAT or NMAT 2026 with the test body, select XGMT 2027 in the application form, or use the rank-holder route.
- Open the official XIM University application form link, available on this page, and create your XU ID.
- Choose MBA-SM, add your academic details and Statement of Purpose, and upload your photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee online and keep the confirmation email.
XIM University MBA-SM eligibility for Batch 2027-29 offers a test route and a rank-holder route.
Degree: a bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline, with at least 55% aggregate marks from a UGC-listed or recognised university.
Test route: a score in XAT 2027, CAT 2026, GMAT (2025 or 2026), NMAT 2026 or XGMT 2027.
Rank-holder route: candidates who hold the 1st, 2nd or 3rd rank in their undergraduate programme can apply without a test score, with a certificate from the head of the institution when asked.
Final-year students: eligible if they complete all degree requirements by 15 June 2027.
Work experience and age: work experience is not mandatory, and there is no upper age limit.
Candidates are shortlisted on academic merit and/or admission test scores. Shortlisted candidates attend Group Discussion, Writing Ability Test and/or Personal Interview, offline in one of 12 cities if the rounds are held in person.
As per the institute, nationalised banks such as SBI offer education loans to XIM University students. The bulletin lists a Vice Chancellor's Medal for Best Academic Performance for the topper of the other PG programmes. Details of scholarships for Batch 2027-29 will be published soon.
