Scholarship
All FPM students at MICA (except sponsored students) admitted to the Programme will be given a fellowship and contingency allowance. The fellowship includes a fee waiver and a monthly stipend. The stipend for the first 2 years is Rs.38,000 per month and for 3rd and 4th year the amount of stipend is Rs.41,000. In addition to the above, a contingency grant of Rs. 25,000 in the first year, Rs. 30,000 in each of the second and third years, and Rs. 15,000 in the fourth year will be available to the students for academic expenses like case material, books, travel, data collection expenses, thesis expenses etc. Students will be permitted to carry over surpluses to the following years. However, FPM students will bear their lodging and boarding expenses.

MICA FPM Eligibility Criteria have following key points:
- Applicants must have a UGC/AIU/AICTE approved Post Graduate/Master’s Degree/equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the field of management/communications/humanities/ or social science.
- Exposure and understanding of Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Advertising and/or Journalism shall be an added advantage.

MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships, leading to partial or full fee waiver are offered to the students. MICA Scholarships are Merit Based and Need Based which are offered to students in 1st and 2nd year of the MBA courses to support them to pursue the management program with reduced financial burden. MICA Scholarships are awarded annually based on the student's overall academic performance and family income. The scholarships are awarded to the students who are currently pursuing studies at MICA. The process of evaluating and awarding the scholarships is rigorous.
MICA offers Prof. Bikram Bindra "Equity Scholarship" and other merit and Merit cum Means scholarships. The students from PGP-1 will be eligible to apply. The Criterion for Scholarship selection is based on the Family Income not exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. Student’s academic performance should be minimum CGPA of 3.00 and class attendance record of minimum 80% in the first year for PGP-2 scholarship. Winning state/national/international level competitions will also add to eligibility.
The maximum number of scholarships to be awarded will be 25 to 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC), including the sponsored from Prof. Bikram Bindra for 1-2 student(s), where Prof. Bindra will provide Rs. 5 Lakhs to the student(s). The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-2 students will be up to 12. MICA will provide the scholarship up to 100% of the tuition fees per student in the programme. Core Courses
The PGDM course curriculum is spread across six terms with the bulk covered in the first three terms. Summer Internship
At the end of the first three terms, students are required to undertake an industry internship or summer training to work on a project / life problem an organization. The internship usually spans over a period of eight weeks. This is a compulsory component of the curriculum for the completion of the academic requirements. It is designed to provide exposure to organizational work setting, develop an understanding of business realities, learn how to apply theory in real life business situations and find its relevance.
Dissertation
The dissertation will be allocated 1.5 credits in Term-IV under the Internship/Fieldwork category. Students will be required to submit their completed dissertation reports by the conclusion of Term-V.
This research-intensive project allows students to engage deeply with their chosen topic, bridging academic learning with practical, real-world application. It fosters essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic writing, and preparing students for future professional endeavours.
Specializations
In the second year, the student opts for elective/ optional courses to specialize in a maximum of two functional areas.
These areas of specialization may deal with any of the following:

Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP)
The Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (ePGP) at IIM Raipur is offered to junior, middle, and senior-level professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to develop and demonstrate capabilities that are relevant to the present-day demands of the business. The ePGP is designed in such a way that it minimizes disruption to work and personal pursuits. The Programme is spread over 24 months. IIM Raipur EPGP has 1000+ hours of content delivery (including 900 hours of teaching) spread across six terms which includes online classroom sessions, campus modules, capstone project and mini dissertation. Total content hours of the programme are 1020 hours. Students would be awarded the “Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree” on completing the Two-Year Executive Post Graduate Programme. The PGP extends over a period of two years, involving six trimesters with a summer internship at a prestigious organization. The programme is carefully designed keeping in view the changing needs of the global business scenario.
During the first year, students are exposed to basic concepts in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Quantitative Methods, Operations, Behavioural Sciences and Strategy through the core courses. These lay the foundations for all the functional areas of management and help the students develop an intricate understanding about the different facets involved.
In the second year, students choose from a range of electives to concentrate on functional areas of their interest. The areas offered at present are Finance, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Strategy and General Management.
A lot of emphasis during the PGP has been laid on industry based and research projects. The students, over the period of years are expected to conduct research on various aspects of management and subject it to the scrutiny and evaluation of the faculty.
