- Applicant should possess an Undergraduate Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from a recognized University (Approved by UGC), with a minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent grade point) in aggregate. (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and Christian Candidates).
- Applicant must have a minimum of three (3) years of full-time work experience (As on 31.07.2024) in one or more registered companies. Applicants must be currently employed in a registered company and must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer at the time of application. Scholarship

In addition to the above, a contingency grant of Rs. 25,000 in the first year, Rs. 30,000 in each of the second and third years, and Rs. 15,000 in the fourth year will be available to the students for academic expenses like case material, books, travel, data collection expenses, thesis expenses etc. Students will be permitted to carry over surpluses to the following years. MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships, leading to partial or full fee waiver are offered to the students. MICA Scholarships are Merit Based and Need Based which are offered to students in 1st and 2nd year of the MBA courses to support them to pursue the management program with reduced financial burden. MICA Scholarships are awarded annually based on the student's overall academic performance and family income. The scholarships are awarded to the students who are currently pursuing studies at MICA. Doctoral Programme in Management
The Doctoral Programme at IIM Indore is a unique doctoral programme in management. It is designed to provide both breadth and depth of knowledge to doctoral participants in management. The programme has two-fold objective of enabling the participants to master the relevant methodological tools of management research on one hand, and the advancement of the current body of management knowledge on the other. The DPM track offers prospects of a career within academia or in (research) positions outside the academia world. Programme’s rigorous curriculum provides ample training for an academic career and gives participants the opportunity to make an indelible mark on the research activity in their respective field. The programme offers specialization in various areas of management. Candidate can choose one specialization out of them.
All DPM students are fully funded during the course of their study upto four years. DPM Learning goals include enabling the participants to understand the foundations of management, management research and relevant research methodologies; Enabling participants to create a perspective on existing body of management thought and contribute to it, To develop researchers with high ethical standards in research work, To understand the need and significance of various pedagogical tools used in management education and to be an effective communicator.
Candidates seeking admissions to the Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) of IIM Indore should submit their application online between the period end-November to mid-February and pay Rs.1000 towards application fee.
The candidates will be shortlisted (on the recommendation of the respective areas) on the based information provided in the application form. The selection process is as follows:
Stage 1: The candidates satisfying the academic eligibility criteria as mentioned above should submit their application online.

Stage 4: Final selection will be based on the requirements of the academic area to which the candidate has applied and an area-wise offer list will be prepared.
Only the candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will be considered for the final selection. Category-wise and Academic Area-wise merit list will be generated based on the performance in the Personal Interviews and the provisional admission offers will be made.
All matters pertaining to admission into the DPM at IIM Indore is governed by the decisions taken by the Admissions Committee.
IIM Indore DPM programme follows rigorous curriculum with award of course wise credits for each course. On completion of the course work, the participants take the area comprehensive examination (ACE). The area comprehensive examination tests whether the participant has obtained a satisfactory level of knowledge in his/her field of specialization and whether he/she has satisfactorily integrated the various courses taken in the area.
After passing the comprehensive examination, the participant enters the thesis stage. Each participant will be advised by a Thesis Advisory Committee (comprising 3 or 4 faculty members). The participant first develops a thesis proposal, for which he/she identifies a thesis topic. The Thesis Advisory Committee [TAC] of the participant arranges a public seminar on the thesis proposal for the IIM Indore academic community. After approval of the thesis proposal the participant works closely with the TAC on his/her thesis. On completion of the thesis research, the participant gives a public seminar, submits the thesis and defends the same.
Candidates seeking admissions to the Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) of IIM Indore should submit their application online between the period end-November to mid-February, and pay the online non‐refundable/non-transferable application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) + GST extra for General, NC-OBC and EWS category and Rs. 500/-(Rupees five hundred only) + GST extra for SC, ST, and PWD category.
Candidates belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories need to produce a valid certificate(s) in support of their reservation category. No change in the category will be entertained after submitting the application.

The maximum duration for which they can get stipend would be 57 months (4 years and 9 months).
A Research Development Grant of Rs. 37,500/- per annum for 4 years is also provided to DPM students for supporting the research efforts and is subject to the norms of the programme. The Institute subsidizes expenses for presenting papers in National Conference subject to a ceiling of Rs. 30,000/- per year with a provision that from second year onwards for attending n number of conference per year but subject to a cap for Rs.30,000/- per year. For International Conferences, the Institute subsidizes expenses subject to a ceiling of Rs. 2 lakhs with a provision of attending a maximum of two International Conferences plus International Doctoral Colloquium or International Professional Development Workshop during the entire period of the programme but not beyond five years
The DPM participant is entitled for free boarding and lodging on campus. Since the DPM is a full-time residential programme, bachelor accommodation is provided to all the participants in the Institute’s hostel on campus. Limited accommodation for married participants may be available on the campus on payment basis (subject to availability and other applicable rules of HS&A).
