Student’s academic performance should be minimum CGPA of 3.00 and class attendance record of minimum 80% in the first year for PGP-2 scholarship. Winning state/national/international level competitions will also add to eligibility.
The maximum number of scholarships to be awarded will be 25 to 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC), including the sponsored from Prof. Bikram Bindra for 1-2 student(s), where Prof. Bindra will provide Rs. 5 Lakhs to the student(s). The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-2 students will be up to 12. MICA will provide the scholarship up to 100% of the tuition fees per student in the programme. Scholarship
All FPM students at MICA (except sponsored students) admitted to the Programme will be given a fellowship and contingency allowance. The fellowship includes a fee waiver and a monthly stipend. The stipend for the first 2 years is Rs.38,000 per month and for 3rd and 4th year the amount of stipend is Rs.41,000. In addition to the above, a contingency grant of Rs. 25,000 in the first year, Rs. 30,000 in each of the second and third years, and Rs. 15,000 in the fourth year will be available to the students for academic expenses like case material, books, travel, data collection expenses, thesis expenses etc. Students will be permitted to carry over surpluses to the following years. MBA HR programme is aimed at developing professionals who will be able to manage all functions and levels of businesses using their HR managerial knowledge and skills. The First Year of the program offers a 2-week compulsory preparatory program for students to enhance their readiness for the MBA HR program; an Orientation program to familiarize students to the IIM way of learning and acquaints them with the infrastructure, services, and student activities at IIM Amritsar. The first year courses are compulsory and provide basic conceptual knowledge and analytical tools in different functional areas of management. All students undergo eight to ten weeks of summer internship after first year of the program. Fellow Programme in Management
IIM Raipur does not charge any tuition fee, hostel fee, library fee, computer fee from FPM students pursuing the programme. Instead, IIM Raipur full time Research Scholars are provided financial assistance to all academic and other expenses.

The fellow programme at IIM Raipur has been categorized into the following three phases: Phase I (Fundamentals of Management), Phase II (Specialization) and Phase III (Doctoral Dissertation). Research scholars will spend generally a little over four years that includes two years of rigorous course work.
The Course work in the first year provides a general management overview and develops basic skills for analysing managerial problems. In the second year, research scholars will take advanced doctoral level courses in the area of specialization; followed by the doctoral dissertation, for the next couple of years. The dissertation is aimed at contributing original research in the area of management studies or to one of its source disciplines. In the following line we provide the glimpses of these phases
During summer Internship, at the end of the first year of course work, all research scholars complete a research project either with a faculty member at the Institute or in any other organization. While the course work formally gets over with the completion of Phase II, doctoral research scholars are encouraged to continue taking advanced courses of interest even during this last stage of study.
- The PhD application form can be filled online through the link given in IIM Raipur’s website (http://www.iimraipur.ac.in).
- An application fee of Rs.1000 should be paid along with application submission
- A candidate is eligible to submit applications to a maximum of two areas of specialization.
Candidate should provide relevant Test Scores including CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF (UGC/CSIR)/UGC-NET. The test score should be valid on the deadlines of the submission of the application form. Test scores of last two years will only be considered.

The candidates for the program must have one of the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree/PGP from IIMs or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average; OR Professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA with degree and CS with B. Com degree along with minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average; OR 4 Year/8 Semester Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/ B.Arch) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent; OR Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 60% aggregate marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
- In addition to the above academic eligibility, candidates should be throughout first class (X, XII, and Graduation)
- Five Percentage points relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PWD candidates.
- Those who are appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply
- Candidate must not be more than 50 years
- Candidates should have appeared in one of the acceptable tests during last two years including CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF (UGC/CSIR)/UGC-NET
- On successful submission of application for PhD admission, IIM Raipur will shortlist the candidates based on Test Score cut off (CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF-UGC/CSIR/UGC-NET) for PI round
- The admission office in consultation with the admission committee and as per the mandated cut-offs (category wise) will decide the number of candidates to be called for PI across specializations

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
The Post-Graduate Programme in Management is the flagship programme of IIM Raipur. The PGP is aimed at providing an overall development of the students and groom them as future business leader to successfully face the challenge of global competition and dynamic market scenario.
The objectives of two year Post-Graduate Programme are to understand the socio-economic, technological, ecological and political environment of India and the world; to hone the problem solving skills, increase the affinity to innovation and the passion for creativity, To develop global mind set to meet the challenges of international and work in a cross-cultural environment, To create socially responsible and globally competitive management graduates who can effectively contribute to inclusive growth of the society, To develop a sense of social purpose for managerial decision-making and to develop leadership capabilities without compromising on ethical values.

Admission/Selection Process for Candidates for MBA program at IIM Raipur is through CAT Exam and IIM CAP PI round. The selection of the candidates for admission to the MBA at IIM Raipur is a two-step process.
In the first step, candidates are short-listed for Common Admission Process (CAP) comprising Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. Detailed Admission process is as below:
- The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum required percentile in CAT. Candidates are short-listed for CAP round which is the common PI round for CAP participating IIMs.
- Candidates are shortlisted from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme
- After the PI round, IIM Raipur will award weightages to various parameters and admission offers are made by IIM Raipur to successful candidates.
The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in CAP round, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, work experience among others

The PGP extends over a period of two years, involving six trimesters with a summer internship at a prestigious organization. The programme is carefully designed keeping in view the changing needs of the global business scenario.
During the first year, students are exposed to basic concepts in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Quantitative Methods, Operations, Behavioural Sciences and Strategy through the core courses. These lay the foundations for all the functional areas of management and help the students develop an intricate understanding about the different facets involved.
In the second year, students choose from a range of electives to concentrate on functional areas of their interest. The areas offered at present are Finance, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Strategy and General Management.
A lot of emphasis during the PGP has been laid on industry based and research projects. The students, over the period of years are expected to conduct research on various aspects of management and subject it to the scrutiny and evaluation of the faculty. This is aimed at increasing the levels of comprehension the students possess in the respective topics.
Register and apply for CAT exam by paying the requisite application fee for the exam. On the page 4 of CAT application form, you need to select IIM Raipur PGP and other programs and select the interview city. Your application for IIM Raipur admission is submitted. You do not need to apply and pay separately for IIM Raipur Admission. After declaration of CAT exam result, you can check at IIM Raipur as well as IIM CAP website whether you are shortlisted by entering your CAT registration ID and password.
- IIM Raipur 2 years full time PGP (MBA) Eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration after class 12, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- The candidate should appear in CAT exam and must score minimum prescribed sectional and overall score to be considered for shortlisting.
- Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for Admission.
