The Doctoral Programme (PhD) of the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is a full-time doctoral programme to be completed in five years. The eligibility criteria to apply for IIMK Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD) are as follows:
- Post-graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline (including M.A., M.Com., M.E., M.Phil., M.Sc., M.Tech., MBA, MCA, etc.) with at least 55% aggregate (or equivalent)
- Professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/CS along with a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate (or equivalent) in the Bachelor’s degree.
4-year / 8-semester Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 75% aggregate (or equivalent)

Admission/Selection Process for Candidates for PGP at IIMA is through CAT. The selection of the candidates for admission to the PGP at IIMA is a two-step process.
In the first step, candidates are short-listed for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. Detailed Admission process is as below:

The first year’s curriculum is compulsory and covers courses in the areas of accounting and finance, behavioural science, communication, economics, information technology, marketing, personnel management and industrial relations, operations management, law, strategy and quantitative methods. At the end of the first year, a student is required to do internship in an organization for a period of eight to ten weeks.
The second year courses provide the students with an opportunity to pursue studies in areas of special interest to them along with a few compulsory courses. The Institute has an exchange programme with over seventy-eight global institutes all over the world. Every year, more than one third of the batch spends a term at these premier management institutes abroad. IIM Ahmedabad eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. CEMS MIM
IIM Calcutta CEMS MIM program is a one-year program which can be taken up simultaneously with the 2 year flagship PGP program of IIMC. Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)
IIM Bodh Gaya started five years integrated programme in management (IPM) from academic session 2021. The programme is meant for students who have passed class 12 and wish to pursue MBA from the best B-schools. The first three year of IPM programme would focus on undergraduate management degree programme BBA and on successful completion the BBA, the students will automatically be promoted to IIM Bodh Gaya MBA programme without bothering for CAT or any other MBA entrance exam. The curriculum of IPM programme would offer experiential learning, international immersion and a holistic course curriculum. The objective of the programme is to prepare young students from a foundation level for taking up leadership positions in corporates/government organizations. The IPM program is intended to make students to have a global perspective towards management practice. With an early induction to the programme and a rigorous and holistic curriculum, the IPM students will demonstrate problem solving skills supported by appropriate analytical techniques and will use ethical and socially conscious judgement while analysing business situations.

The 5 Year IPM Program at IIM Bodh Gaya is divided into BBA + MBA degree programmes. The first three years of the IIM Bodh Gaya IPM program would be based on a semester system, and the last two years would be based on the trimester system as per the prevailing MBA course structure. At the end of 2nd year, students will have to undergo a compulsory Rural and Social Immersion internship.
