The PGEMP Programme is conducted in four phases spread across 21 months and involves 60 full days of classes at SPJIMR campus in Mumbai. The 60 days on-campus period is divided into eight contact periods with Initial contact period of 3 days for the Pre-foundation phase; 6 contact periods of 9 consecutive days each, over the Foundation, Integration, and Customisation phases. The off-campus period between two consecutive contacts is 10-12 weeks. The last contact period of 3 days for final exams and Capstone Project presentation. Residency on campus during contact period is mandatory.
The programme is divided into four phases and each phase is equally important. Specializations are offered in General Management & Strategy, Operational Excellence, Innovation and Growth.
The candidate has to remain employed during the programme as he/she will be required to apply the concepts to his/her own job context. As such, continuous and full-time employment is mandatory throughout the programme. In the event the candidate is in between jobs and not in employment, he/she will have to take a break from the programme till such time he/she resumes full-time employment.

- The application fee is Rs. 1200, which is non-refundable Along with the application form, participants need to submit the Sponsorship letter and a NOC from the present employers in the prescribed format given on the last page of the application form. This letter is mandatory even if the applicant is self-funded.

Post Graduate Programme in General Management (PGPGM)
SPJIMR’s Post Graduate Programme in General Management (PGPGM) is a two-year weekend programme ideally suited for mid-career professionals who wish to pursue an Executive MBA without taking a career break. Participants are awarded the AICTE-approved diploma, “PGDM – Executive Management Programme”, on successfully completing the PGPGM programme. Our world-class faculty deploys a unique application-oriented pedagogy that relates classroom activities and assignments to the programme participant’s work context. In addition, the stimulating classroom discussions with a cohort of highly experienced co-learners from diverse industries expose participants to a broad range of perspectives. PGPGM is an AICTE-approved 2-year diploma programme for working professionals. With sessions on every alternate weekend, it is specially designed for busy executives with four or more years of work experience who do not want to take a career break for further studies. On successfully completing the programme, participants will be awarded the AICTE-approved diploma, “PGDM- Executive Management Programme”.
For NCR participants, weekend sessions will be held at Delhi Campus, with annual immersions in the Mumbai Campus. For Maharashtra participants, weekend sessions will be held at Mumbai Campus. Candidates from other states can attend sessions at either one of these campuses.
PGPGM is specifically customised for mid to senior management executives and provides the essential knowledge and skills of an Executive MBA programme. The programme architecture comprises four Phases and follows the TLAP model with a focus on Teaching, Learning, Application to the job context and Project (industry-based). The Phase 1 curriculum of the programme is on building the Foundation with foundation courses; Phase 2 and Phase 3 are Integration and Phase 4 is customization of the curriculum. PostGraduate Programme in Marketing & Business Management (PGP-MBM)
Post Graduate Programme in Marketing & Business Management (PGP-MBM) offered by SPJIMR prepares executives for a continuously evolving & disruptive business landscape. It is designed for high-potential junior to mid-level executives who wish to take up greater responsibilities within the marketing & sales functions of their organisations.
PGP-MBM intakes two batches every year to ensure optimal batch size. The programme is delivered in a modular, blended format with five contacts of 6 days each, three contacts on-campus and two online. Participants are introduced to concepts and applications through a carefully crafted blend of pedagogical methods such as case analysis and discussions, games and simulations, debates, group activities and presentations, workshops, guest lectures by eminent practitioners, self-learning and reflection.
In the Orientation Phase (Contact 1), participants are taught Financial Accounting, Managerial Economics and Managing Self & Teams. In Foundation Phase (Contact 2 & 3), participants need to study Business Communication, Business Analysis using Financial Statements, Quantitative Methods, Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour Analysis, Sales & Distribution Management and Data Analytics and Visualisation. In the last phase Contact 4 & 5, which is Integration part, participants will study Sales Operations, Service Operations, Strategic Management, Customer Experience Design, Negotiation Skills, MarkStrat, IT Tools for Sales & Marketing

Fellow Programme in Management
The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), approved by AICTE, is a doctoral-level programme of SPJIMR designed to create world-class researchers and faculty in various management disciplines. Full FPM Full-Time at SPJIMR is a fully-funded residential programme. Every scholar admitted to the full-time programme receives a stipend for the first four years of the programme.
FPM encourages rigorous interdisciplinary research in contemporary areas of management and focuses on relevant and contextual research to address current business issues and aims to create knowledge that helps shape the world for a better future. The programme envisages itself developing independent top-quality management thinkers, thought leaders and consultants making contributions to the domain of management.
The programme can be pursued in full-time and part-time mode depending on the flexibility and requirements of the candidate. It offers equal opportunities to individuals with a passion for research and learning who wish to expand their research skills and working professionals from the corporate world who wish to gain indepth understanding of research methods and understand its practical application to address the contemporary challenges of today’s dynamic business environment.
Scholarship
Every participant admitted as a full-time scholar receives a stipend for the first four years of the programme as below:
During the coursework phase: INR 40,000 per month
Post-clearing the qualifying exam: INR 42,000 per month
Post successful defence of proposal: INR 45,000 per month.
Contingency grants are also offered to the full-time participant to access the necessary equipment and facilities for research. The amount is reimbursed after verification of the submitted bills.
- Every full-time participant is eligible for a contingency grant of INR 25,000 per year for the first four years of the programme to cover research expenses such as the purchase of software, books, stationeries, hardware
- One-time claim of up to INR 40,000 towards the laptop purchase during the first four years of the programme.
- Upon completion of the comprehensive qualifying exam, FPM scholars are entitled to reimburse domestic & international conferences subject to a ceiling of INR 2,30,000 during the entire period of the programme.

The overall length of the programme is ideally between four and five years. The programme phases include:
