GIM Goa Admission Process 2026
- Apply Online: This is the first step.

GIM Goa Achiever’s Round
The Achiever's Round of GIM Goa is a profile-based shortlisting process that evaluates candidates based on program-specific or other achievements in areas such as academics, sports, co-curricular activities, and professional experience. This round applies to all programs based on the candidate's first preference.
Candidates are shortlisted for the Achiever's Round without considering CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores initially, which is factored in at the later stage. Select candidates from the Achievers Round receive a spot admission offer, even before their CAT/XAT/GMAT scores are available.
Program-Specific Achievements that qualify for Achievers round include graduates from select institutes; MBBS, Biotechnology, BPharm., BDS from select institutes; CA,CS, CMA, CFA (US), ACCA, CIMA, CPA (US), FRM (GARP) holders and B. Com. Or B.A. Economics (Hons) from select institutes; and engineering graduates with at least 24 months of full-time work experience in specific companies. These candidates are invited to the Achiever's Round based on their first preferred programme.
Outstanding performance in academics, sports, co-curricular, or at the workplace such as national cricket/hockey/football player, top ranked in university degree course, School toppers in 12th standard, and star performer in last appraisal at work are also given preference.

Core Courses
The PGDM course curriculum is spread across six terms with the bulk covered in the first three terms. Summer Internship
At the end of the first three terms, students are required to undertake an industry internship or summer training to work on a project / life problem an organization. The internship usually spans over a period of eight weeks. This is a compulsory component of the curriculum for the completion of the academic requirements. It is designed to provide exposure to organizational work setting, develop an understanding of business realities, learn how to apply theory in real life business situations and find its relevance.
Dissertation
The dissertation will be allocated 1.5 credits in Term-IV under the Internship/Fieldwork category. Students will be required to submit their completed dissertation reports by the conclusion of Term-V.
This research-intensive project allows students to engage deeply with their chosen topic, bridging academic learning with practical, real-world application. It fosters essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic writing, and preparing students for future professional endeavours.
Specializations
In the second year, the student opts for elective/ optional courses to specialize in a maximum of two functional areas.
These areas of specialization may deal with any of the following:

All elective Courses, however, may not be offered, as this would be determined by the number of students showing interest in aforementioned area of specializations. The Two-Year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (E-Business) programme consists of six trimesters. The course framework of the programme has been designed to ensure that PGDM (E-Business) management graduates at LBSIM gain a balanced mix of strategic thinking, tactical implementation, specialised knowledge, and general management abilities. The focus in the first year is largely on fundamental courses, that provide a foundation of conceptual and analytical abilities necessary for pursuing a specialised course in E-Business. These fundamental courses enable students to have a holistic understanding of business environment and help students improve creative thinking, effective communication skills, and teamwork. During the first year, students study a total of 21 (twenty-one) courses in the areas of Economics, Human Resources, Quantitative Techniques, Accounting and Finance and Information Technology.

LBSIM PGDM E Business Admission Eligibility Criteria have following key requirements:
- Graduates in any discipline with minimum 3 years bachelor’s degree with 50% marks
- Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply.
- Candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a phone number throughout the selection process.
