MDI Gurgaon PGDM curriculum is structured over six terms of about three months each, spread across two academic years. The first four terms cover the core courses, with the majority completed in the initial three terms, providing students with a strong foundation in management. After Term 3, every student undertakes a compulsory summer internship of eight to ten weeks to gain practical exposure. In the second year, students can choose elective courses to specialize in up to two functional areas from Accounting & Finance, Operations Management, Marketing, Strategy, or Information Management. MDI Gurgaon follows a continuous evaluation system, where students earn letter grades in each course, and the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is computed as the credit-weighted average of all grade points earned. MDI Gurgaon curriculum is constantly revised on an ongoing basis with practitioner input.
MDI Gurgaon PGDM teaching methods include lectures, case studies, seminars, assignments, live pro-jects, group discussions, business games, outbound based experiential learning activities, educational excursions, role plays, simulation exercises, group work, and field visits.

Step 1: Fill Personal Details
On the first page you should fill your name, father’s & mother’s name, email ID, Password, Country, Mobile number and submit at Sign up column. After completing the step 1, you will receive the confirmation message. You should now click on ‘Activate Your Account’. An OTP will be received by you on email and mobile, verify it and proceed to complete the remaining part of MDI registration process
Step 2: Complete CAT Registration & Personal Details
On the next page, you need to fill information on CAT registration number and personal details with address.
Step 3: Upload Photo & Signature
After completing your entrance exam details and personal details, now you should upload your photo and signature of required size as below.
Step 4: Fill Your Work Experience
The next step is to fill your work experience details. All the details should be correct else your candidature may be cancelled.
Step 5: Fill the Details of Extra Curricular Activities
On this page of MDI Application form, you need to fill the correct details of your extracurricular activities of inter-collegiate, institute and higher level of sports, cultural, literary and others
Step 6: Document Details
The required documents are to be uploaded on this page of requisite size like copy of Identification, Class 10, 12 and graduation marksheet/degree among others.
MDI Gurgaon application fees is Rs. 3,000, inclusive of 18% GST. Candidates can select all the MDI programmes they wish to apply for, and pay the fees online.

MDI Gurgaon eligibility criteria for PGDM Admission have following key points:
- The candidate must hold a minimum 3 years’ bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- The applicant must have also scored a minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in class 10 and 12.
- Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply to the PGDM Program.
- Applicant should appear in CAT exam. MDI accepts only CAT exam scores for shortlisting candidates for GD PI WAT round.
MDI final selection process for admission 2026-2028 batch of the PGDM / PGDM-HRM / PGDM-IB / PGDM-Business Analytics is a multi-stage process.
- MDI Gurgaon shortlists candidates for the WAT-GD-PI process on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT 2025 scores.
- Stage-I MDI shortlisting: MDI Gurgaon shortlists candidates for the WAT-GD-PI round based on multiple parameters, with the CAT score carrying the highest weightage of 70%. Academic performance in Class 10, 12, and Graduation collectively contributes 15%, while work experience (10%), academic diversity (2.5%), and gender diversity (2.5%) ensure a balanced and inclusive selection process.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Written Analysis Test, and Personal Interviews between February and April 2026 at a center in one of the following cities: Bengaluru, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

- O.P. Jindal scholarship of INR 1,50,000 for second year students.
- At the end of the second year, MDI Gurgaon awards five merit scholarships of INR 10, 000/- each to the top five students.
- MDI Gurgaon offers merit-cum-means Scholarship scheme for the meritorious students to pursue PGDM courses at MDI Gurgaon belonging to economically weaker Sections (EWS). MDI provides 12 merit cum means scholarships (50% waiver of tuition fees) every year to the students pursuing two-year full time PGDM/PGDM-HRM/PGDM-IB/PGDM-Business Analytics at MDI Gurgaon starting from AY 2021-22.
