LBSIM Delhi PGDM General 2027 admissions are open for the Batch 2027-29 of the flagship two-year, full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM), New Delhi. The LBSIM Delhi PGDM (General) has 180 seats, the largest intake among the four PGDM programmes offered by the institute. The tuition fee for the LBSIM Delhi PGDM (General) is Rs 17.25 lakh for a General seat, as per the LBSIM PGDM Admission Brochure 2027. Candidates are selected on the basis of CAT 2026, XAT 2027 or GMAT scores, followed by an Extempore and a Personal Interview. The PGDM (General) Batch 2024-26 recorded an average CTC of Rs 12.4 LPA.
LBSIM launched the PGDM (General) in 1995, the year the institute was founded, which makes it the oldest of the four PGDM programmes on the Dwarka campus. The programme is approved by AICTE and accredited by AACSB. NBA first accredited the PGDM (General) in 2007, and the accreditation was renewed in 2025. AIU recognises the LBSIM Delhi PGDM (General) as equivalent to an MBA. Students pick a major from six functional areas, so the programme suits aspirants who want a broad management base before choosing a career track. Two ten-day experiential modules are compulsory: a Rural Immersion with NGOs and an Outbound Leadership Programme with the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation. - Shortlisting and cut off: LBSIM builds a composite score from the exam score, past academics, work experience and application details. The LBSIM PGDM General cut off is not published in advance.
- Selection weightage: the entrance exam score carries 60% weight; past academics, the Extempore, the Personal Interview and work experience together carry 40%.
- Confirming the seat: selected candidates complete the LBSIM PGDM General admission by paying the fee between March and June 2027 (tentative).
The LBSIM Delhi PGDM (General) runs over six trimesters and carries 120 credits. Before Trimester I, every student completes a foundation module that includes Bloomberg Market Concepts and basic statistics. The first year has 23 courses, of which three are domain-specific core courses linked to the chosen major. A summer internship of 8 to 10 weeks follows Trimester III. In the second year, a student builds a major from the three domain-specific core courses and four specialisation electives, adds minor or free electives, and completes a five-month Final Research Project.

Selection weightage: For the PGDM (General), LBSIM gives the entrance exam score 60% weight in the final selection. The remaining 40% is a combined share for past academic performance, the Extempore, the Personal Interview and work experience. LBSIM has not published a separate split within this 40%. The institute states that the process may be modified in view of the circumstances prevailing at the time.
LBSIM offers full merit-cum-means scholarships to selected EWS and meritorious students. The number of awards and the selection rules for Batch 2027-29 are not listed in the brochure, so applicants should ask the admission office when they apply. Fee refunds follow AICTE regulations.

IMI Delhi PGDM Programme Highlights 2027
The IMI Delhi PGDM is a two-year, full-time residential programme and the flagship of IMI Delhi. From Admission 2027, the programme follows a new curriculum that IMI describes as "co-created with industry, benchmarked globally". AI is built into every course, career track and term. ESG and sustainability are integrated across the curriculum. Students choose from six career tracks and more than 100 electives. Learning is application-first, through capstone projects, Block Weeks, live cases, simulations, industry projects and data labs. The IMI Delhi PGDM HRM curriculum combines compulsory courses, electives and two internships. The first year covers the basics of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Operations. It also includes Economics, Quantitative Methods and Information Technology. The institute describes its goal as a manager with strong human resource management skills who is also a balanced professional, shaped by what industry needs. - Register with your primary details and verify the OTP to open the application form.
- Select IMI Delhi as your campus. You can add IMI Kolkata and IMI Bhubaneswar in the same application.
- Fill in your personal and contact details. Keep your email ID and mobile number active until the admission process ends.
- Enter your academic record from Class 10 onwards and your CAT, XAT or GMAT details.
- Add your full-time work experience after graduation, if any.
- Sign the declaration and pay the application fee online. One fee covers IMI Delhi and, if selected, IMI Kolkata and IMI Bhubaneswar.
To apply for IMI Delhi PGDM HRM 2027, a candidate needs a recognised bachelor's degree and a valid CAT, XAT or GMAT score.
- A bachelor's degree of at least three years, in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent, from a recognised university.
- Final-year students graduating in 2027 may also apply.
- A valid CAT 2026 , XAT 2027 or GMAT score. GMAT scores from tests taken between January 2022 and January 2027 are accepted.
- Foreign nationals are eligible on the basis of GMAT scores.

The IMI Delhi selection process for the PGDM HRM evaluates each applicant on academic record, test scores, work experience and performance in the Video Assessment and Personal Interview.
- Academic abilities: a consistent academic record.
- Test scores: valid CAT 2026, XAT 2027 or GMAT scores.
- Video Assessment: tests the candidate's thought process and communication skills.
- Personal Interview: shortlisted candidates from the Video Assessment are interviewed on general and business awareness, clarity of goals, attitude, people skills, communication skills, and personal, extra-curricular and professional initiatives.
- Category: the admission process is the same for all candidates, irrespective of category.
IMI Delhi offers two scholarships: the IMI Academic Excellence Scholarship and the IMI Professional Impact Scholarship.
