Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) is a master’s degree program of 2 years duration. EMBA is designed with the objective of imparting management education to working executives seeking skills and strategies to make their organizations perform well.
The program is offered on an Interactive Learning (IL) platform in a blended mode. EMBA program is of 2 years duration and is offered in blended mode of Online and class room sessions. Total number of 36 courses are included in the programme curriculum. Total number of Programme Hours are 740 (1st year – 360 Hours, 2nd year – 380 Hours). Classes will be conducted on weekends from 9 AM to 5.00 PM on Saturday and 9 AM to 3.30 PM on Sunday. Apart from the online sessions, the programme will have 2 in-campus modules of five days each at IIM Visakhapatnam.
A mix of evaluation elements would vary from course to course as decided by the course faculty. Each course would have an end term examination apart from Quizzes, Projects, Assignments, Class participation. The End term examinations would be conducted in Bennett Coleman & Co. (BCCL) Centres spread across the country.
The program curriculum covers all the important domains of management in year one. At the end of the first year the participants will be equipped with a sound understanding of all functional areas of management like Marketing, Economics, Finance, Human Resource, Information Systems, Production and Operations, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. Participants will also learn various tools and techniques for understanding the use of data in making business decisions.
The second year is built on the foundation of year one core courses, where participants are given the option of choosing from a bouquet of elective courses offered across different management specializations. Along with the elective courses, the program mandates one core course per term in the second year. Post Graduate Program in Digital Governance and Management (PGPDGM)
The Post Graduate Program in Digital Governance and Management (PGP-DGM), leading to the award of Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree was launched by the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) in 2019. This program was launched under the aegis of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India (GOI).

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
PhD is the Doctoral Programme in Management at IIM Bodh Gaya. It is a full-time residential programme of four years. Inaugurated in the year 2020, The Ph.D. Programme of IIM Bodhgaya is a relatively new programme. IIM Bodh Gaya will provide scholarships to full time Research Students (Ph.D.). It will cover all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library fees) and hostel fee.
Monthly Stipend of Rs. 32,800 will be provided till Comprehensive Exam and Rs. 35,400 Post Comprehensive Exam. After approval of Thesis proposal, the stipend will go up to Rs. 39,300 per month. Additional Financial Support of Rs. 25,000 per year towards Contingency Grant for 4 years will be provided and Rs.50,000 will be given towards one time Laptop Grant. Academic Record
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process – the Individual Assessment Individual Assessment Process (Personal Interview) will be held in January/ February 2026(tentative). Past academic records, performance in the individual assessment process along with other qualitative parameters, like quality of work experience and extra-curricular activities constitute the core components of the selection process. Personal Interview

All students whose total family income is less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum shall be eligible for Scholarship under Economically Weaker Section.
