Financial Support for IIMV PhD Students
Stipend will be paid at Rs. 37,000/- per month for the 1st two years and Rs. 42,000/- per month from the third year onwards.
Contigency Grant is paid as per UGC norms
International Conference grants of up to Rs. 3,00,000/- and National Conference grants of up to Rs. 60,000/- towards accepted papers are paid
In addition to this grants for publication of papers in national and international Journals, participation in international conferences are also paid

IIMV PhD Program comprises of two phases Coursework and Thesis work. The phase-1 of Course work covers the first year of the programme. Successful completion of the first phase requires passing the Comprehensive Examination (Written & Viva) at the end of the first academic year. a student is required to take 18-credit courses over this period.
On completion of Phase 1, the students begin thesis work consisting of a thesis proposal and a final thesis-evaluation. The area concerned can decide on the combination of PGP and PhD courses to be offered in year, subject to the minimum requirements. so that the student completes 27 credits before the comprehensive qualifying examination.

Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)
Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) is a master’s degree program of 2 years duration. EMBA is designed with the objective of imparting management education to working executives seeking skills and strategies to make their organizations perform well.
The program is offered on an Interactive Learning (IL) platform in a blended mode. The specific objectives of the Program are to help participants to understand the demands and challenges of modern business organizations; enhance knowledge in functional management domains; Sharpen skills in diagnostic, analytical and decision-making tools, and techniques; Contribute to organizational development with greater competence and confidence.

EMBA program is of 2 years duration and is offered in blended mode of Online and class room sessions. Total number of 36 courses are included in the programme curriculum. Total number of Programme Hours are 740 (1st year – 360 Hours, 2nd year – 380 Hours). Classes will be conducted on weekends from 9 AM to 5.00 PM on Saturday and 9 AM to 3.30 PM on Sunday. Apart from the online sessions, the programme will have 2 in-campus modules of five days each at IIM Visakhapatnam.
A mix of evaluation elements would vary from course to course as decided by the course faculty. Each course would have an end term examination apart from Quizzes, Projects, Assignments, Class participation. The End term examinations would be conducted in Bennett Coleman & Co. (BCCL) Centres spread across the country.
The program curriculum covers all the important domains of management in year one. At the end of the first year the participants will be equipped with a sound understanding of all functional areas of management like Marketing, Economics, Finance, Human Resource, Information Systems, Production and Operations, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. The second year is built on the foundation of year one core courses, where participants are given the option of choosing from a bouquet of elective courses offered across different management specializations. Post Graduate Program in Digital Governance and Management (PGPDGM)
The Post Graduate Program in Digital Governance and Management (PGP-DGM), leading to the award of Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree was launched by the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) in 2019. This program was launched under the aegis of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India (GOI).
The Program is spread over 2 years in 4 semesters. The Program is offered in blended learning mode with a judicious combination of traditional and virtual class-room modes. This is in tune with the importance and rising trend of such (on-line) programs being offered by educational institutions. Blended-mode of course delivery addresses the constraints of working professionals in having to be away from work for extended duration which is necessitated due to fully on-campus, residential programs. Monthly Stipend of Rs. 32,800 will be provided till Comprehensive Exam and Rs. 35,400 Post Comprehensive Exam. After approval of Thesis proposal, the stipend will go up to Rs. 39,300 per month. Additional Financial Support of Rs. 25,000 per year towards Contingency Grant for 4 years will be provided and Rs.50,000 will be given towards one time Laptop Grant. Apart from this Rs. 1,75,000 towards Conference Grant will be given to attend national and international conferences.

Rural Immersion Experience

Industry Internship

International Immersion
The International Business in Practice course is a unique second-year elective that gives more than one-third of the students the chance to work for two weeks on a live business problem in a company in another South Asian country or the Middle East.

The first year core courses cover the key tools, concepts and analytical skills used in all major functional areas as well as subjects like business strategy and business ethics. After the first year, Students complete a two-month corporate internship with companies at different locations. There is a rigorous evaluation process after completion of first year.
In the second year, Electives are offered in all of the major functional areas along with multi-disciplinary courses like Entrepreneurship and Management Consulting. One of the elective options is the innovative International Business in Practice (IBP). Teams of 5-6 students undertake a two-week live project in the offices of a multinational company in locations like Bangkok, Dubai, and Singapore.
Students also have the option of undertaking a Course of Independent Study (CIS) which allows them to probe deeper into a subject of their interest. A compulsory course is Capstone which emphasizes the philosophy of immersion and application orientation. Some students also spend one full semester abroad as a part of the Student Exchange Program (STEP).
The method of instruction at IIM Udaipur includes case studies, group and individual projects, student presentations, simulation games etc. Lectures by Industry experts integrate classroom learning with industry practice.

Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP)
IIM Rohtak One-Year Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPx) is designed to provide the candidates with an opportunity to get a formal management qualification of a premier brand in India with state-of-the-art knowledge acquisition. The programme is meant for the working professionals with minimum 3 years of work experience. IIM Rohtak One-Year Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPx) is divided into three terms. There are total 29 courses offered in the programme in the 3 terms. Each term consists of 9/10 courses. There are 370 Online class sessions and 75 Online sessions (On campus). The programme also consists of 180 Project work assignments.
There will be total 625 hours of sessions including 12 campus visits with 3 campus visits per term. However, total campus visits are 12 days overall.
