Financial Support for IIMV PhD Students
Stipend will be paid at Rs. 37,000/- per month for the 1st two years and Rs. 42,000/- per month from the third year onwards.

International Conference grants of up to Rs. 3,00,000/- and National Conference grants of up to Rs. 60,000/- towards accepted papers are paid
In addition to this grants for publication of papers in national and international Journals, participation in international conferences are also paid

IIMV PhD Program comprises of two phases Coursework and Thesis work. The phase-1 of Course work covers the first year of the programme. Successful completion of the first phase requires passing the Comprehensive Examination (Written & Viva) at the end of the first academic year. a student is required to take 18-credit courses over this period.
On completion of Phase 1, the students begin thesis work consisting of a thesis proposal and a final thesis-evaluation. The area concerned can decide on the combination of PGP and PhD courses to be offered in year, subject to the minimum requirements. so that the student completes 27 credits before the comprehensive qualifying examination.

Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)
Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) is a master’s degree program of 2 years duration. EMBA is designed with the objective of imparting management education to working executives seeking skills and strategies to make their organizations perform well.
The program is offered on an Interactive Learning (IL) platform in a blended mode. The specific objectives of the Program are to help participants to understand the demands and challenges of modern business organizations; enhance knowledge in functional management domains; Sharpen skills in diagnostic, analytical and decision-making tools, and techniques; Contribute to organizational development with greater competence and confidence.

EMBA program is of 2 years duration and is offered in blended mode of Online and class room sessions. Total number of 36 courses are included in the programme curriculum. Total number of Programme Hours are 740 (1st year – 360 Hours, 2nd year – 380 Hours). Classes will be conducted on weekends from 9 AM to 5.00 PM on Saturday and 9 AM to 3.30 PM on Sunday. Apart from the online sessions, the programme will have 2 in-campus modules of five days each at IIM Visakhapatnam.
A mix of evaluation elements would vary from course to course as decided by the course faculty. Each course would have an end term examination apart from Quizzes, Projects, Assignments, Class participation. The End term examinations would be conducted in Bennett Coleman & Co. (BCCL) Centres spread across the country.
The program curriculum covers all the important domains of management in year one. At the end of the first year the participants will be equipped with a sound understanding of all functional areas of management like Marketing, Economics, Finance, Human Resource, Information Systems, Production and Operations, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. Post Graduate Program in Digital Governance and Management (PGPDGM)
The Post Graduate Program in Digital Governance and Management (PGP-DGM), leading to the award of Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree was launched by the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) in 2019. This program was launched under the aegis of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India (GOI).
The Program is spread over 2 years in 4 semesters. The Program is offered in blended learning mode with a judicious combination of traditional and virtual class-room modes. Monthly Stipend of Rs. 32,800 will be provided till Comprehensive Exam and Rs. 35,400 Post Comprehensive Exam. After approval of Thesis proposal, the stipend will go up to Rs. 39,300 per month. Additional Financial Support of Rs. 25,000 per year towards Contingency Grant for 4 years will be provided and Rs.50,000 will be given towards one time Laptop Grant. IIM Rohtak One-Year Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPx) is divided into three terms. There are total 29 courses offered in the programme in the 3 terms. Education background
To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Programme, the participants must possess a bachelor’s equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognised university in India or abroad (recognised by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities). However, the final selection may be based on a higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of applicants for the programme. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent.
