FMS Delhi MBA course structure is closely aligned with the contemporary business requirements. FMS MBA Course is of 2 years duration and is divided in four semesters. The key focus area in FMS MBA Curriculum is on producing managers with sound fundamentals. 

Two Pillars of FMS MBA Curriculum
FMS MBA curriculum rests on two pillars. The first one is providing a strong analytical foundation in key functional areas, and the second one is enabling a high degree of academic flexibility, thereby allowing students to customize their MBA experience. 

FMS MBA Curriculum: Year 1
The first year of MBA programme introduces students to the essential models and tools, with a focus on rigorous training in the diverse disciplines in management and the development of a strong foundation of business knowledge and management theory. The year concludes with a rigorous Summer Internship programme which allows students to explore practical application of the management concepts. 

FMS MBA Curriculum: Year 2
In the second year, the students decide on their professional development plans by reflecting on their first year’s learning and Summer Internship experiences. This experience is augmented by interactions with an eclectic mix of world-renowned faculty and corporate luminaries who together teach core and elective courses. 

XLRI PGDM HRM has major thrust areas in the programme on Human Resource Planning, Human Resource Information Systems, Selection, Performance Management, Training and Development, Compensation Administration and fostering harmonious employer - employee relationships in the framework of state regulations. 

Besides the PGDM HRM courses are directly related to HRM. The programme also includes a series of courses in various functional areas of management. Being a specialized programme it does not provide for further specialization. Students choose an appropriate mix of elective courses according to their preferences. Graduates of this programme are qualified for executive positions in Human Resources Development, Personnel Management, industrial Relations, Labour Welfare and other related areas. The alumni are occupying senior level positions in private and public sector organizations and in multinational companies in India and abroad.
 

XLRI Double Masters LSCM programme core courses in the business management help students appreciate the interdependency of the various functional areas and integrate them while addressing problems in the business context. The specialized courses on supply chain management help students to pursue specific courses dealing with the domain knowledge in the logistics and supply chain areas.
 
At the end of the first year, all students are required to undertake a project in an organization as an integral part of the curriculum in the areas of logistics and supply chain management. Students work on live assignments for various organizations which gives the students an opportunity to sharpen their knowledge and skills, develop better appreciation of the practical problems of business organizations in general and the management. 

Three-day team building component is compulsory for all the students of this program. The objective of the programme is to develop leadership and teamwork through exercises and assignments in the logistics and supply chain management areas.

XLRI's evaluation system is designed to continually assess the students' performance in relation to the required standards of academic achievement. Apart from examinations, a student's performance is assessed based on class participation, preparation of periodic assignments, mid-term tests and surprise quizzes. Minimum performance in the first year is also expected from the students to qualify to apply for the RBS Programme and for the scholarships as stipulated by the RBS, US.

The PGDM IEV at XLRI is designed to develop various skills and knowledge in the students though its rich curriculum and pedagogy. XLRI IEV employs a dynamic, hands-on approach in which each day is different. Students should anticipate two to four 90-minute lessons per day, five days per week. Students also engage in group projects, career counselling meetings, industry practicums, and extracurricular activities throughout the week.

The curriculum is based on the regular PGDM curriculum for business management but has been contextualized for startups. The core courses will cover all aspects of business fundamentals needed to run a business, and electives will the students to focus on specific learning needs. A large part of the course is designed around experiential learning, where students get an opportunity to validate and internalize the learning by applying it in the real world.

XCEED, the incubation centre at XLRI, supports the development of early-stage startup companies led by XLRI students, alumni, and faculty. The First Year academic work, spread over three terms, is a compulsory package of 22 foundation (core) courses designed to provide basic knowledge of concepts, tools and techniques in various functional areas and relevant disciplines.

The two-month compulsory Summer Training in industrial and business organisations follows the first year course work. The summer training is aimed at providing exposure to the real life working environment. Students are required to work on specific, time-bound organisation related assignments.

The Second Year academic work, spread over three terms, comprises two compulsory courses of integrative nature along with a package of 15 elective courses of advanced and applied nature.
In the second year of the PGP Programme in Management, IIM Lucknow offers choice of Specializations in the areas of Marketing, Finance & Accounts, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management, IT & Systems, Business Environment, Communication, Operations Management, Decision Sciences, General Management.

IIM Lucknow PGP students have the opportunity to choose and participate in two workshops in their sixth semester. The students can register for two elective workshops from the list below: Sports Marketing – Marketing Area; Qualitative Market Research–Marketing Area; Framing Identity and Role through Exploration – HR area; Business of Entertainment – General Management; Capstone Business Simulation – General Management; Risk Management – Finance area; Personal Finance and Retail Banking – Finance area; Behavioral Finance – Finance Area

The Second Year academic work, spread over three terms, comprises two compulsory courses of integrative nature along with a package of 15 elective courses of advanced and applied nature. These provide students the opportunity to develop in depth understanding and concentration in the areas of their special interest. The students can also take up to two Courses of Independent Study (CIS) as elective, or one Dissertation Project which is equivalent to two elective courses spread over Term-V and Term-VI.

The specialization area of Agri Business Management covers sub specializations in Agri Marketing, Rural Marketing, Agri Finance among others

IIM Lucknow PGP SM curriculum is divided in six terms spread over two years. The curriculum of PGPSM is rigorous and includes specialized courses on sustainability from the first year itself, without missing out on the general management courses. In the second year, the students get exposure to sustainability in detail through well designed compulsory courses in Terms IV & V, and elective courses in Term VI. 

The second year has an integrated project for three terms (up to 9 months) as an integral part of the curriculum. With course work running in parallel, the students get a day off every week to work on live projects with industry. Periodic assessments by the faculty ensure that the students stay on track to meet project deliverables. The students get involved in projects in renewable energy, smart cities, resource optimization, green marketing, CSR portfolio management, etc. They are associated with leading organizations like Tata Sustainability Group, Soft Bank, NTPC, GIZ, ITC Infotech, Velluri Technology Accelerators, Vedanta and World Bank.

This unique aspect of the PGPSM curriculum has been well appreciated by recruiters. Firstly, the hands-on exposure gained through the integrated project gives the students a unique business orientation that goes beyond the confines of the class room. Secondly, recruiters often find the eight-week summer internship as too short an engagement to assign worthwhile projects and assess the suitability of a candidate.
 

IIM Kozhikode PGP LSM program is a unique offering, with the primary objective to prepare future managers by enabling them to acquire emotional, cultural, and creative intelligence. The programme is designed to integrate and equip participants to pursue careers in managerial roles in marketing, human resource management, media, social enterprise, hospitality, healthcare or in other people facing roles. 

The PGP-LSM is a two-year (six term) full time programme that provides in-depth coverage in terms of lessons from liberal studies and core management principles in the first year followed by advanced courses and electives in the second year. 

The programme also has a module on International and Rural immersion that the participants need to engage with in term IV (second year). Master’s thesis in term VI (second year) is another unique feature of the course. IIM Kozhikode will also provide assistance for internship and final placements. PGP-LSM at IIM Kozhikode is a completely residential program. Boarding and Lodging will be provided to all the students.
